  • your right i,ll hit that

  • have u seen her picture? google it?? she is actually quite fuckable!!

  • they should of let her live

  • i feel that noone has the right to take a life, in God eyes the people who did the injections or pulled the level is just as guilty, ponder that thought!!! my daughter was shoot 4 times and died aug 1st 2010, and if i were given the option of haveing him executed, i would so no!!! whats that gonna solve, we americans are so quick to play judge, and God, let God do his job, he said there shall not murder, there fore he will take care of the unjust!!

  • @mslula54 i'm glad somebody feels the same way i do.

  • im sure her victims wanted to live tooo

  • Now you all feel sorry for her? Imagine how her victims felt when they were shot and left to die. She killed 2 of her past lovers. Bitch can't take losing an argument.

  • She just went to aleep. Tears, tears.

  • Kennedys, from the famous family of, and it wasn't Caroline, produced this documentary. I believe her name was Rory. BTW, Wanda was the second child/ first girl of eight kids. Not eleven as I stated earlier which was a guess. I've since watched the tape I have here and wanted to make the correction.

  • Kennedys, from the famous family of, and it wasn't Caroline, produced this documentary. I believe her name was Rory.

  • I think they WOULD have granted clemency for Wanda Jean. But. The board learned that she met her murder victim, Gloria, in prison-- & what was Wanda Jean in prison FOR?? MURDER. She got mad at a lover who was leaving her, and she ran up to her, shot her once in the back, and the woman died. She actually did time and was paroled for this killing. So, I guess they felt like she had her chance to prove she was a changed woman; maybe she was; who am I to judge her? I'm just fillling in "blanks".

  • i remember watching this many years ago. at the time, i wanted so badly for her to be pardoned. watching her end was heart wrenching. now i believe the death penalty should be discontinued. there are just too many loop holes and sometimes too much doubt. if u ask me, it actually gives the perps an out. they don't have to live with anything that they've done. if the purpose for prison is punishment, then make them live forever inside those 4 walls with only memory of what brought them there.

  • @afoolnluv35 Yeah, I wanted that too, and thought it would happen, because those investigative lawyers worked so hard -submitting appeals, etc. Then I remembered the name of the documentary.

  • "Forgive 'em Lord, for they know not what they do." Even at one point sticking out her tongue. Gloria's brother was angry about how Wanda acted. He didn't think she acted sorry at all. Constantly moving around on the gurney. As David said, "like she was dancin' ". Wanda's mother wasn't there. I never saw any of her family as they were leaving where the execution took place. I saw Wanda's family at the end though at the funeral parlor and the cemetary where they opened up the casket again.

  • @amuslima99 Wow. So touching on that story. What's next after that?

  • @10251991JRH That was it basically. A real emotional scene at the funeral parlor...Wanda's mother crying, "Why did they do this to you Jean?!" And then at the cemetary too, at I believe the request of her mother or the family members (because you don't hear what people are saying), they re-open Wanda's casket, and her mother is crying over her. All this is at the conclusion of the documentary with a beautiful rendition of "I'll Fly Away" by some woman singer playing as credits roll. One of the

  • the execution would take place. Jesse Jackson was there and on the news discussing trying to stop the execution. Chanting "keep hope alive". Wanda told David they had her in the area where the men were and she liked it. "You like it?" "Yes, they're a part of me, ofcourse I like it." and she told him to keep his head up. (keep positive). while they worked to make something happened. But ultimately the scheduled execution went through. Ruby did go. She did Gloria's brother. They said Jean said...

  • Wanda came from severe poverty and would at times steal food to bring home to the family at a young age. She was the second child of about eleven kids. First girl. Her older brother, Bill, the minister, claimed Wanda wanted him to administer the injection, be in the room where they would give her the lethal injection.Supposedly he had done the embalming when their father died. David Presson, one of the legal investigators, thought this was sick. They transported Wanda to another prison where

  • saved from execution. She apologized to her mother and Ruby. Concluding with "Please, let me live, please let me live." As she read her voice went lower, and lower-and she was holding back tears. Before the vote was taken, since they had no questions for her, guards escorted Wanda out. Only one board member voted "Yes". The other three (two men-one woman) said "No" with no hesitation. So throughout the documentary it was the team working to turn the decision around, interviews w/ the families

  • Gloria shooting came to see her. And they were on good terms-she was glad to see him. He apologized to her for how the trial went with him as her lawyer. He agreed to be there at her clemency hearing if the board had questions. The brothers were glad-because I guess at first he wasn't going to come. The doctor who wrote out the report was there. He was asked one question about damage to the frontal lobe of the brain. They never asked the lawyer anything. Wanda wrote and read her plea to be

  • ever recommended clemency". And so they were hoping this would be the first. As you see, it didn't fly. Wanda claimed she came to the police station to file a report as well."...but I didn't make it." Earlier the day of the shooting, Wanda said Gloria had hit her in the face w/ a hand rake. At the time of the shooting, she claimed to be there physically, but not mentally. The team suggested she not point blame. She stated, "I take full responsibility for my actions." Her lawyer from the

  • for the shooting of a friend. She received less than 4 years for it. So along w/ this and shooting Gloria-it equaled one death penalty case for Oklahoma. One of the brothers (of the legal investigators) stated had the doctor's report been followed up, "maybe no one would of been hurt." Their aim was to appear before the Oklahoma Pardon /Parole Board (clemency hearing) to have them recommend to the governor that Wanda's sentence be commuted to life w/out parole. Since 1976, the OPB has "never

  • were two brothers who were working free of charge on Wanda's case. They didn't believe Wanda was provided w/ effective counsel during Gloria's trial. Her lawyer at that time portrayed her as a normal human being-and the jury never saw a doctor's report written when Wanda was 15 and in a Juvenile Inst. where they discovered she was borderline mentally retarded, w/ severe cognitive disfunction. He suggested further testing and treatment. In 1981, Wanda was allowed to plea to a manslaughter charge

  • Gloria grabbed her side and said, "Mama, Jean SHOT ME !" Her mother, Ruby Wilson, replied, "Oh girl, Jean didn't shoot you !" Gloria said "yes she did, she shot me." And she moved her hand and there was a tiny pin hole spot on her clothing. Ruby stated she turned to look at Wanda, and that she just turned around real slow like nothing happened. Ruby replied to Gloria: "Jean shot you, for REAL? !" When they turned Gloria over (hospital) according to Ruby, "all her intestines were hanging out."

  • @amuslima99 Aw, man..... What's next after that part?

  • @10251991JRH Ruby said she stayed at the hospital until Gloria died. Ruby forgave Wanda early on. She said she didn't believe in an "eye for an eye-tooth for a tooth". Gloria was a mother/ grandmother. Ruby raised her children. She didn't know at first if she would attend Wanda's execution-but she figured she was there at her daughter's end-she should be there at Jean's end. So the legal investigators-that's what her legal team was-started getting Wanda prepared for the clemency hearing. They

  • She killed someone before her lover and eventually got out and walked the streets again. Like Gloria's brother said they thought she would stay locked up after the first time-but she didn't, and he didn't want her to be executed-but she could get out again after killing his sister. So, probably thinking that was indeed possible that she could get out after serving a number of years for this shooting, the Oklahoma Parole Board decided to go on and execute her. But her legal time tried so hard to

  • @amuslima99 I mean her legal team, did all they could to keep that from happening ! To the very end ! And she always thought a stay of execution would come. They tried to convince the parole board in the hearing there that Wanda Jean was borderline mentally retarted. Her brother, a minister, told how when she was little she got hit by a "pop truck" as he called it. She flew way up in the air and landed on her head. Every since then she had trouble with her temperment, etc. But a defense lawyer

  • explained how she was not mentally retarted. While she did have a low I.Q. she had a job, etc. and stated, "we are not executing a retarded woman." I meant a prosecuting lawyer. The prosecutor had two cards that Wanda had sent to Gloria during their troubled relationship. In one of them Wanda wrote something like: I am the type of person who will hunt down someone I love and KILL THEM. Try to leave and see what I mean. Do I make myself clear Gloria? Dig--no Joke. Gene." Spelled like the man.

  • Her brother didn't mention the accident in the hearing-he was at their mother's house where some of siblings gathered to talk about the upcoming hearing with the parole board. Gloria's mother had gone with her daughter to file a complaint at the police department. She said the last thing she heard Gloria say was to Wanda Jean who had driven to the police department as well-" I said NO Jean, I'm not coming back !" And she leaned into the car to get her purse, Jean shot her. She told her mother.

  • I believe in the death penalty humanely. Life sentence in prison is a death sentence. It is not living when you have no freedom. You've been proven a liability in society, so there is no point keeping you on wasting tax dollars to keep useless people alive. Death is best for some people who should never have been born in the 1st place.

  • This women clearly had a mental illiness!!! did not deserve the death penalty!!!

  • This woman was dangerous as hell. She had committed murder BEFORE killing her lover Gloria. Seems her way of handling disagreements with people was to shoot them! I don't think she was retarded, just kind of goofy and strange. I think justice was done.

  • I'm on the fence on this subject. I don't know how I would feel towards a person that murdered a member of my family.

  • i bet the girl she killed said the same thing good the bitch was killed just what all murders should get

  • @daniel679867 By that measure, should the person who killed her be killed too? Still a murderer, wouldn't you say?

  • @harmfulsweetz nope justice was served the trash was taken out

  • this was sooo funny LOL :) death to everyone.........hahaha..........im just joking had you there for a second didnt I probably not the best video to post this on but w gives a crap

  • This is so cut up. I glad I taped the original documentary on HBO. Alot was missed here.

  • @amuslima99 Can you upload it?

  • @10251991JRH No, sorry, I don't have what I need to do that.

  • @amuslima99 I would love to see this whole movie.... It would understand me on how she got the death penalty.

  • @10251991JRH Before shooting Gloria Leathers Wanda Jean Allen had sent her threatening correspondence, so it wasn't really a spur of the moment crime of passion. The murder was pre-meditated. She had committed a previous murder. I think all of these factors contributed to her getting the death penalty. I don't think she was could accurately be called retarded. At her execution she said 'forgive them for they know not what they do." That's a very calculating statement for someone "retarded."

  • An eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth.

  • For you people who feel bad for her...why not feeling bad for the family of the one shot!!! I mean .........what about those people?!!?

  • @jumpyjedi You can feel sorry for both. There's no contradiction there.

  • The woman was learning disabled, and is now dead, you can stop throwing your dummy and screaming at people who felt sorry for her.

  • Where's part 4 ??

  • Will there be a movie about Wanda Jean Allen's life?

  • u europeans & canadians need to mind ur own buessniess and stop trying to make us a bunch of criminal lovers like u.

  • Legalised murder is such a contentious issue! Even though capital punishment has long since been abolished here in the UK,the debate surrounding this subject still rages, with periodic calls for it to be re-introduced here! Personally,I believe it's rarely about justice & usually about revenge, which is an understandable reaction, especially for the families of murder victims.I don't think we in the UK can ever understand why so many states in the US still have capital punishment!

  • Hope people will get to see this on HBO where it originally aired-because this is chopped up big time.

  • I'm so proud that my country eliminated the death penalty... proud to be Canadian!

  • PEOPLE ARE FUKING SLAVE@IGNORANT+ARROGANT=$=REPTILIANS SNAKE

  • SHE KILLED TWICE, ONCE IS ENOUGH. I DONT BELIEVE IN THE DEATH PENALTY BUT WANDA JEAN WAS HOT HEADED AND WANTED. TO BE THE MAN OR IN CHARGE OF HER RELATIONSHIP. WAT? SHE HAS TO KILL 5 MORE TIMES B 4 WE ALL WAKE UP?

  • And Charles Manson lives on.

  • this was not her first murder she got off on the first one obviously wanda felt above the law she later dominated her girlfriend coldly murdering her in front of her mother at the police station.... BRAZEN

  • u are so rite, she thought cause she got away wit one killin dat it was all about her, well i guess it wasnt

  • why the fuck did you shoot her then? stupid GUILTY on all charges

  • @AcepilotC172 you piece of shit! you better not use the N word again. you should NOT be allowed on youtube asshole!!!

  • Ofcorse death penalty does not prevent crime. USA is barbaric country and because of that had both a lot of violence on streets and a dead penalty. This is the mentality, violence and death.

  • Singer Brandy stated a few yrs ago that she would like to portray her in a bio-pic, I think that would be great this story needs to be heard more in depth..

  • lol personally its more wrong to condemn a person a life in prison to rot and die there rather than execute them. i prefer to be executed then spend the rest of my life in prison- but that's me

  • Elberiver11 (Peter Aikman, self hating American neo-Nazi thug) nevers misses an opportunity to attack and besmirch the reputation of the US (his homeland).

The main issue here is whether the death penalty is an appropriate punishment for the most serious crimes or not. The fact that Germany has no death penalty is irrelevant and this childish 'my country is better than your country' adds nothing to the debate.

I am opposed to the death penalty for many reasons e.g. reliable proof of guilt etc.

  • In Germany there is no death penalty, and in the USA have the death penalty.

In Germany there is fewer crime in the streets, in America you have countless no-go aras.

Even in Berlin there are no areas which you couldn't walk at night, even in the bad areas. You can walk a park at night in central Berlin, nothing happens.

In the USA this is different. If you walk Central park at night in NYC, you'll be a dead man.

The death penalty does not prevent crime. Think about it.

  • The reason there is so much crime in America is because there is so much immorality. It has nothing to do with the death penalty! We Americans are very spoiled and Godless people and our mentality is that "It's All About Me!" . We are selfish and have a huge "entitlement complex". No, the death penalty has nothing to do with why we have anything. I respect the death penalty for such a cruel and hateful crime! What if it was your sister or mother, or daughter that was murdered?

  • @Elberiver11 zats because zee SS will come get you if you commit any crimes under their watch!

  • oh boo hoo

  • LOL! I agree with you 100%! Give me a break! You had no regard for that life when you took it! You may be sorry now, but you still must pay for your crime! That life can never live again because of you!

  • body look around you and you see who is real criminal producer.lady gaga madonna ,porn industry ,holly wood .all american are retarded in some way. mostly have a cansuler to be able to go on in life. wake up we are all slave and this woman is an unlucky one . we are lucky one . we are all victems.

  • fuck this modern civil world you call it modern and you kill women!! Why not put her for rehab, teach her how to become better, let her do more social work! What benefit you get from killing women? Poor girl was afraid and saying grace!! These shitfaced officers called men they gather as they send her to the grave!! Fuck them all, if anyone of them had a sould he would say no! just no! this is wrong! killing is never the answer, the answer is love, guidance, socail work and rehab..

  • SOCIAL REHAB?! This woman had no regard for the other woman's life and she asked for hers to be spared? What about the woman who begged her not to kill her? What if it was your mother or sister! This woman had no regard for life! This was premeditated, aggravated murder! The law was clear in this state. Taking someones life may require your own!

  • @godschildyes

"SOCIAL REHAB?! This woman had no regard for the other woman's life and she asked for hers to be spared?

Yes you are right. But still:

    1) After 10 years, people change. If someone seriously regrets, that is a difference.

    2) Has anyone noticed she shot her own - LOVER? This should make you start thinking. In the majority of murder-cases victim and perpetrator KNEW each other well, in most cases lovers or couples!

  • 3)

This means, there must have been a time, when she has loved gloria. We dont know what happened to cause this. But we do know, that once love was involved between the two. This proves that she did no have a bad intention from the start.

    4) I am not saying you should forgive her. She has commited a crime, period. We agree on that.

But we should be careful with how we punish somebody. Prison life-long is a severe punishment, too!

I am against death penatly. Its BARBARIC.

  • 5)

Yes, her murder was barbaric too. But a civilized society should not sink down to the level of retaliation and revenge. Prison is punishment, too. They will never walk free again.

If i was a judge, i would sentence this woman to do good to others, life long. Like working for the disabled or the poor. She could be of service to society. The death penalty won't prevent another crime. A murder is happening somewhere right now, while we talk! Revenge does not change anything. I am against it.

  • Thank you for sharing your opinion and I respect it! But you don't brutally murder someone that you love. That is obsessive and controlling! It is not "Revenge" to use capital punishment for such a deed. Capital punishment was not put in place to lessen crime. It was put in place to see that justice is done to the victim, their families and the offender! It would not be justice for her to have cared for the disabled. I understand that we do not agree and that's okay. Take care...

  • americans are big idiots with there capital punishment, US law is third world.

  • say that to the victims of murders from any country.

  • Do you know the difference between justice and revenge.

  • Capitol Punishment is wrong in my opinion. If mistakes were not made, then fine ok. Tho Wanda Jean was guilty, not all are. If we speed up the process for the guilty, then we take a chance more Innocent people will be executed verses having a fair appeal that might bring their rightful freedom back to them. The process is too long, its unfair. The victims families in this case, most didnt want Wanda to die, if justice is for them, then whos justice did it serve to kill her anyway?

  • Although somebody being killed is certainly a tragedy I must say that after reseaarching this case, I believe the correct conclusion was reached. She harassed and threatened to kill the victim if she ever left her.The victim left she killed her, now they have made her pay for that with her own life.Honestly, I did feel very sorry for Wanda Jean and her family. But we must remember, Wanda Jean is not the victim here. The true victim is unable to tell her story because she was forever silenced.

  • I agree with you 100%

  • savage is the country that views state sponsored killing as justice.

  • Give me a break!

  • Anyone that watches this documentary should be able to tell that Wanda Jean is mentally retarded and should have not been executed.

  • She was not mentally retarded! She was an uneducated, ignorant woman. I am a black woman who grew up around such women myself. She was not retarded. People just don't have the fear of God in them anymore. An eye for an eye... She was not the victim here!

  • If 1st degree means "premeditated", then don't you think that at some point during the planning phase of the murder, the killer would also be thinking, "now if I get caught, I might very well be put to death," but then makes a conscious decision to face the risk and go ahead with it anyway...

How can one feel sorry for the risk taker who crapped out?

  • THANK YOU! She is not the victim!!!

  • It's not like you get executed for being involved in a fatal car crash, even if you're drunk.

It's reserved for capital murder. In some jurisdictions, 1st degree murder isn't even enough to qualify. It has to be 1st degree with aggravating cicumstances (i.e. kidnapping or torture).

  • I think the death penalty is wrong, BUT if you had to do it, then why in the hell wait 11 years to finally kill her off??? why not do it with in the same month or so after the verdict? its just crazy. If that was her sentence then it should have been carried out asap not wait for over 11 years to finally say hey! we need to kill somone this year.

  • Had this woman killed any one of your family members, you all might have a different opinion. The law is the law ...... when one breaks it, they run the risk of the consequences.

If the law states that to take a life may require the death sentence, don't break that law, and you will be just fine ....

  • You took the words right out of my mouth! It is stupid to not have regard for another persons' life and to not have any regard to the law! This was premeditated. aggravated murder! You take someone's life and you may loose your own. We don't value someones' life but we expect the law to preserve our? That's crazy!

  • what faggots they voted for her to die

  • They all show up with a Bible in their hand or a cross around their neck!

  • Comment removed

  • They did the right thing by executing Wanda Jean.

  • i saw this when i was younger

and it would just make me think

  • I'm from the UK & haven't grown up with the death penalty. I think it wrong as it's used soley for vengence.

It was proved from her IQ that she was retarded & so should ave gotten life.

In Europe we do not execute anymore due to the amount of post-humous pardons we ave given out. So many innocent ppl lost their lives.Timothy Evans-a notable innocent who hanged.

USA needs to take a lead from the Europe & abolish it. England for that matter needs to up it's sentences & take a lead from the US.

  • @tangogirl123 Like Machiavelli wrote, it isn't the amount or severity of penalty that prevents crime from happening, it is rather the certainty of being caught and getting any. In today's world, there are people who ends up in jail for stealing an apple, and people who rob entire countries and get away with it.

  • Honestly,

This was one of the saddest videos that I have ever seen. It is a tragedy. However upon investigation into the matter, she had murdered before. Also, she shot Gloria Leathers in front of the police. That alone shows that she could easily have killed again. I believe she had problems, but she knew right from wrong. Thereore, I must say that she should have been put to death although I do feel sorry for her family.

However, we must not forget the victims.

  • This was beyond Sad.. no matter what, i dont beleive in killing a human being. Even though she murdered her lover i still feel that she shouldnt have been executed! i feel that she should have just served life in Prison and suffered that way.

  • i agree with you; I'm not supporting what she did but I took a liking to her

  • how do u tell somebody killing is wrong & then u turn around & kill them as punnishment? so do u kill the person that does the execution cause to me they are also murderers!!!

  • @TericaSwagHerWalk07 SHE KILLED BEFORE DATS Y SHE GOT THE DEATH PENALTY. SHE WAS A CONTROL FREAK AND THOUGHT SHE WAS A MAN AND VERY VIOLENT IN HER RELATIONSHIP WITH HER FEMALE LOVER. SHE SHOT SOMEONE B 4 AND SHOT SOMEONE AGAIN , KILLED BOTH

  • @TericaSwagHerWalk07 Bleeding heart idiot.

  • @TericaSwagHerWalk07 Bleeding heart idiot. Don't believe in the death penalty unless she killed someone in your family.

  • @TericaSwagHerWalk07 im from the uk aswell and im shocked to find out that ppl over the world are executed just because of a murder! in the uk i think we get a life sentance in jail!

i think execution is wrong to humans and only to be done to animals and people who despratly need to be "put to sleep" only if they are serasly ill and cant get better and only humans get executed it they ask for it!

  • @TericaSwagHerWalk07 so this means you enjoy paying taxes and giving your hard earned money to provide housing, food and medical care for life long inmates? because i sure dont, especailly knowing that inmates get better health care than us who actually pay for it.

  • This was beyond Sad.. no matter what, i dont beleive in killing a human being. Even though she murdered her lover i still feel that she shouldnt have been executed! i feel that she should have just served life in Prison and suffered that way.

  • I saw this documentary on HBO. Before any says anything about the State of Oklahoma putting this animal to death, please understand that this isn't the 1st Woman that she killed, she had killed before and spent 11 years in prison. They should have executed her the 1st time, but they let her go free. Because the state did this, the state indirectly caused the death of another innocent person. Wanda Jean was an animal. I don't feel sorry for her at all.

  • well she apologized

  • Apologized my ass, she is responsible for killing 2 people, because of her uncontrollable temper, and rage, 2 innocent people are dead. True enough, they were all lovers, but if someone doesn't want to be with you any longer they should have to live in fear of loosing their lives. The second woman that she murdered, she had been in a relationship with, the woman left her because she was abusive, in addition, this woman had to take out a restraining order against her, she is an animal, hands down
