Stanley has been gone almost two years and like Tony Shalhoub, I miss him terribly. Dr. Kroger was such a wonderful character and the series certainly suffered a huge loss without him.

I love Monk and I love his relationship with Dr Kroger and I am really sad because he was a big part of the monk show but most of all his poor family and friends wish them all the best

I was just informed yesterday about Stan's death. We went to Rutger's Prep together and at one point in our high school years there, we took a car trip to Montreal. We also went together to Manhattan to see a number of Broadway productions. Stan was always interested in an acting career. I regret that we lost contact when we went to college. From Buenos Aires, Argentina where I currently live,I wish to pay homage to Stan, happy to know that he followed what he wanted in life.

I had just asked what was going on with him that he was looking unwell, then as I was watching re-runs on USA a little over a week later I saw the flash across the screen & was confused. I rewound the DVR then ran to the internet & it was so. I feel like I've lost a friend. I loved him as Dr. Kroger & being a Trekkie, on Star Trek as well. HE Will be missed as would family.
