please find a cure!! i have it and im 15 years old and its getting harded and harder. i also had a uncle that had it and he died at a very young age :( my brother is 33 years old and he isnt doing to well :(

please help find a cure for me and my family.

you may trip over it one day, or at least anyone will. We will murder this illness one day soon. I can just taste it. I to suffer, well i don't "suffer" with duchenne. I fight with duchenne everyday, and almost "forget" i have it, cept for the fact of the chair i'm in. No matter. I don't suffer technically because i never let it get to me and i live days like they are my last. As in, i don't mope, i go out and attack the day and enjoy it to the fullest.

we have to keep believing that there will be a cure i was told at 12 that i had MD i am now approtching my 31st birthday and i always hope that others with MD can have some insperation in the fact that i am still here fighting in hope

Thanks ZACTION. We heard all about the exon skipping trials at last years Action Duchenne Conference in London and cant wait to hear some updates at this years!

Well done. We will find a way to deal with this. There are clinical trials going on now for some exon skipping (Antisense Oligonucleotide therapy)
