I think "languishing" is the best song of Mariah's new album. Though "betcha gone know" is really good, "languishing" has the stronger story and the soothing feeling in it...I love it. Well, in the statement that I made, I said that Alison has been jealous of Carey since the beginning, meaning from the start. Since Mariah was born she has been favored by her parents. I think the only songs that hints of that is Obsessed and that is more for Eminem not her. Mariah will not make music that will influence others negatively. This is proof for me that Mariah chooses the type of music she wants to make. She is such a brilliant songwriter but together her and James Wright make magic. MOAIA is by far my favorite album from her.
I am so glad that she did not do a remix to this song as she did with all the others. If you all check out her website you will see that she has made known the tracklisting for the remix album and the people she features on it. It looks amazing. I am just a little disappointed that she did a remix of Angels Cry with Bone Thugs and Harmony! I wanted her to do a duet with either a male singer or some one like Celine Dion. That would just be out of this world! I can't wait to get the remix album!

I don't remember her saying that on the album. I have the album at home and she dedicates the album to Michael and her late pastor!Check it again! I do agree with you though, that the song is in the same line as a tribute to Michael. I have been saying that since the song was released, but it also has elements of her lifestory in it as well, so she can relate to it as well as fans around the world. The album title is about her, but also relates to Michael and so many others who have had it bad^^

This is not about Tommy! But it has elements of her past relationships whether it was Tommy, Luis,Eminem,Alison Carey (sister) as well as her white ancestry who rejected them as mixed children! Listen carefully to the song! Do some research and you'll get the whole picture! There is more to this story than just Tommy Mottola!

That has NO REFERENCE to her white family, allison and especially NOT eminem...it's the same message from her songs she made against Tommy. If you knew mariah, you would know her story!!!

Furthermore, Tommy has not said a word to Carey for a while now! Close My Eyes was about her childhood and growing up mixed race! The same was said about Outside and Can't take that Away!Side Effects talks about Tommy whereas Obsessed talks about Eminem and others who have stalked her! Furthermore, her sister also called her " a bitch"... I know Mariah's story very well. I have been a fan of hers since the beginning! Be careful what allegations you make to others!!

This is proof for me that Mariah chooses the type of music she wants to make. She is such a brilliant songwriter but together her and James Wright make magic. MOAIA is by far my favorite album from her.

I am so glad that she did not do a remix to this song as she did with all the others. If you all check out her website you will see that she has made known the tracklisting for the remix album and the people she features on it. It looks amazing. I am just a little disappointed that she did a remix of Angels Cry with Bone Thugs and Harmony! I wanted her to do a duet with either a male singer or some one like Celine Dion. That would just be out of this world! I can't wait to get the remix album!
