Aagh...I can't wait until the author finishes this story and the rest gets animated. She better not die before the story is complete and I need to see Maya and Masumi get together. Anyway, I truly love this anime and have gone back and rewatch the 2005 version like every week. The bad thing about the 2005 version is that it is 51 episodes long and sometimes the animation doesn't have too much quality so the characters doesn't look consistent...especially poor Masumi. Enjoy!!!

I love this anime!!! Of course this is the OVA so there's not too much character development. I love the 2005 version and you can't help but root for Maya. I felt that the voice actor for Ayumi was too mature and I didn't like Maya's voice actor - not talented enough. Masumi - they animated him with more emotions and he looks so HOT. Love him - just want to grab and kiss him myself . ^_^

Thank you for uploding them, i watched the 2005 it was great but i didn't like the ending. i know this OVA didn't finished all episodes. but i am watching the 1984 many differences.

but that's not the final ending of 2005 there will come a second season because neither of them have played the crimson goddes they can't finisch the anime because the manga still hasn't ended

as i wrote in the title this is the OVA not the 2005 version remember that there are three different vesions of gnk the version of 1984 wih 23 or 24 episodes it doesn't have an ending as well,the OVA(this one)and the version 2005 that has an ending but since the manga has not finished yet the authors of the anime made an open ending....

I think Maya's portrayal of Midori was more artistic than that of Ayumi's, and isn't that what acting is about? Bringing something new? Go Maya!
