@janekorman Our kids, in a Victorian Secondary school, in Year 9 have just started a reading unit which we've called 'Surviving the Horror'. YOUR dad made the difference to their first gut understanding of what happened. They said..he's laughing! They're amazed at his dancing. They are so used to putting their finger up at people they see as cruel...they GET your dad doing the same. THANK YOU for such an amazing, strong way in for our kids.

Then you can push play on the movie- and line up the beginning of the song and press play on the song. --- a bit of work-- but i did it and i felt like i got the whole experience. The most important video on Youtube! Gloria Gaynor's song is playing in my head as I watch it anyway! Sony can't remove that! :¬) Jane, I just read a comment on your channel and found your response to it. Yes, I didn't see it at first, but you're right to encourage todays youth to know about that terrible time, and to see it with other eyes than those of stifling guilt. Another song says, Teach your children well, give then a code that they can live by. This video is part of that teaching.

Ich habe das Video auf einem anderen Kanal mit vollständiger Musik gesehen. Mir kamen die Tränen, als ich den fröhlichen Opa gesehen habe, wie er mit seinen Enkeln tanzt. Ich freue mich sehr, dass er das Grauen überlebt hat und jetzt mit seiner Familie glücklich leben kann! Auch wenn es für ihn nachdenkliche Momente gibt wegen der, die nicht überlebt haben,an die er jeden Tag denken muss.
