well for games like medal of ho nor you dont need xlink kai for that itlaready has online built inside it its called infracture so try that if it says infracture you dont need xlink to get online

you Wont see anyone online, you need to set up a tunnel connection to xlink kai, then you will see people in there after you tweak the connection a bit and presto i believe mhf2 is online now, on xlinkkai i am not sure on mhf i havnt played teh game in a few years since i retired myself

it is only Ad Hoc which means if there is a person in the same room as you they will show up but to play online as in worldwide you need a tunneling program which tricks your psp into thinking its playing ad hoc but really your playing with someone from china or something, oh, by the way look on the back of the psp case it will say ad hoc but will say nothing about infastructure thats how i look for online games just look at the back of the box and an orange strip that says ad hoc/infastructure

You need Xlink Kai, its not a product so you can download it from the website (to get to the website, google search Xlink Kai then go to the website and download) the WiFi max you dont need i dont think but the setup is way easier with the Max. The WiFi Max is a product, usually sells here at around, 20-30 dollars.

game game portable is just the jp verison, freedom is na, both work on a Format of Tunneling, tunneling is a shared network that works with wireless routers in this case, to do it withl ittle too no work i suggest getting a Wifi Max, then getting the xlink Kai and Google Capcom BBS better to explains the details then me

the route to connect litterly online is to goe threw Tunneling, look on Capcom bbs forums for more info there is atuff all over the place with info the best program to use free of charge is Xlink kai to connect with your psp to a server based connection (tunneling)
