Used to love this show when I was a kid. PeeWee Herman was so scool, with Cowboy Curtis, Chairy (or however you spell it), Jambi, and the others. Used to crack up at all the silly antics that would be featured in the show, then watch him ride off to wherever at the end of the show. Wow, I loved PeeWee Herman's Playhouse!

During these seasons, he didn't have a helmet but, in the next few seasons, he had a helmet.

I think these are the old seasons, so if you see him picking up an iron to open the door for his scooter to come out (just like he did here), then he wasn't going to wear a helmet, and if you see him opening the door by turning a statue's arm, then he was going to wear a helmet which was hooked onto his scooter.

Yes I agree since Pee Wee said at 1:24 "what a beautiful day" which made it sound like he wanted to enjoy the beautiful day while riding on his scooter. The other times when the scooter made sense was in one episode where Pee Wee caught a cold and he asked his friend Ricardo if it was okay for him to ride on his scooter for fresh air. Another time was at the end of one episode he said that he was going to buy lemons, and another was where he was going to the Cowntess's birthday party.
