I would say Ann Wilson of Heart has the best voice in rock. Linda I would place just behind her. Both Ronstadt and Heart should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, especially since it is full of blues, jazz, country, bluegrass and pop artists. Why do they call it the Rock and Roll hall of Fame anyway?

Sigh... it always depresses me to see how few people bother to find out where songs came from. Hooray for those of you who knew Warren Zevon wrote and recorded this himself when Terri Clark was just an 8-year-old child.

And Linda's version is fantastic, as always. If you watch some YouTube versions of her singing this... I agree. She is better as an older woman, and that's quite a feat considering how magnificent she was in the 1970s. Best female rock or country singer there ever was

Do the current physical aspects of the performers detract in any way from the sheer quality of their performance? Not in any way what-so-ever. Linda R. and her band have always been at the pinnacle of 'Live' entertainment and thirty years hence, that has certainly not changed. Her voice, in my opinion, is as powerful and melodic as it was back in the (Hey) day.

Linda sounds so great there, 19 years after that song came out. She is such a legend. However, Bill Clinton fake smiling and being so ridiculously off rhythm is one of the most awkward things I have ever seen. He is the slickest politician ever, but he never could master the art of looking right while watching a rock concert. He always felt the need to participate somehow, and he screwed it up really bad every time. He would have been much better off just watching.
