And for all that moan without driving one i will say its a very good car. 10 minute re-map paired with a K-tec Filter, Dump valve and new exhaust it will rival the RS model (in a straight line as the CUP chasis is unbelievably good on the RS) the GT badge is warranted only by tampering. not from standard. although i must say even from standard the swirl of the turbo when accelerating makes a fun experience! What about a twingo RS?:) Im really thinking of buying it because its cheap and fast and offcourse you can take it out on the mountains and forget every problem you have!
I can't really understand who would buy the Twingo when there's the imho much better Clio. And why buy any of those when there's the absolutely superb Megane?? Of course the price tag starting from about 10 000 euros is quite interesting but for that amount you get a car that feels very cheap!
have to disagree really-its a matter of opinion, I have the basic model and the reviewer is right that the extra money for the gt probably is not justified. as for the base model im very impressed with the look and feel of the car-comfort and driving position are excellent.
panda have 6 airbags? traction control? abs ebd afu bas? i-pod conextion?- clima? auto lights? cruise control? backside of the new twingo for me is good no very good but is not ugly!
panda has the 6airbags, has the Abs blablabla, has the esp, has clima, has mp3 reader, and has a lot of "estetics gadgets". She doesn't have the cruise control and the auto lights, but...who cares? Fiat's lights are always on...

The old Twingo was intentonially made with a flawed seating position and w/o Diesel option, to prevent "cannibalisation" of Clio sales.
This one now offers decent seating AND a diesel option, but is intentionally flawed and still not a choice over the Clio III.
based 95% on the Clio-II platform (same as Logan), Renault has bigger margins on this model, so they just sell the magic 6 letters TWINGO here, hoping they make some profit by offering what is(was?) indeed a legendary car name.

Eww... Twingo GT, they call it GT, what a joke! You can't make a car fast with just putting GT behind his name.
I don't say it's a bad car. It's perfect for a small family and city driving and it's not expensive but pease, don't call it GT...

In Denmark it is one off the best buy for your money ... 110.000 Dkr is cheap for a 1,2 75 bhp car ( standard version)
For the same price you can also get Fiat Panda 60bhp or Citroen C1/Peugeot 107/ Toyota Aygo with petrol engine ...
I would prefer the new Twingo ...

the fiat is better on equipments and on estetics. i'm sorry but this twingo is very ugly: the backside doesn't work.
And the new twingo has the "Oblique" cdplayer, that was a problem also on the old twingo.

It weighs about the same as a 5 gt turbo.
If you tickled a few more raging ponys out of the engine, say 40, and fixed the seemingly clown suspension it might be fun.
