J'adore francais, ou je deteste la classe!

Wait, did I say that correctly? lol I have a C- in French II right now.

  • @LightLeadingMe You're alright :) Any language comes easier if you read in it. Get a french newspaper or magazine (vogue or something) and try hard to get what you are reading. Cheers!

  • @KittyIsAround I just realized I put "or" instead of "but". FAIL. J'adore francais, mais je deteste la classe! LOL Thanks!

  • @BlueSoda79 :the problem is after trying so hard to American English accent I can't seem to speak french smoothly, my french teacher say I speak "too hard, too "english". That's not french! " because the two ways of pronunciation just fuck eachother up in my mouth

  • why would i say my name is kitty?

  • @bhvfcdsxdxdzszaa etes- vous francais? parce-que je pense ca va est "how's it going" et ca va bien merci est "it's going fine, thank you" en anglais. Que-pensez vous?

  • @zainsid I think she's a Yank.

  • @borgduck Who is a yank now? Most interesting conversations in my videos ;)

  • @zainsid jsuis quebecois jsé po trop si tu comprend :P mais jpense que sa va veut dire. how are you

  • Hello Lala, as much as I appreciate that you want to help people, please refrain from advertising on my videos. Thank you!

  • Désolée! J'ai vraiment pas penser!!

  • De rien ;)

  • Merci.

  • Cool

  • do you have other french teaching videos? :)

  • Not yet, but if you tell me what topics you'd like to learn about, I might make some more :)

  • Thank you :)

I'm studying french by myself so i'd like topic about simple things such as colour, weather or some informal way of greeting and communication in daily life :)

Sorry for asking so much like this. Just make video anytime u like :) Once again thanks ^^

  • Hey, no worries, I love advise :D

I'll see what I can do ASAP.

    Cheers!

  • thankz ^^

  • im learning french in school and i already knew all of this. i am so proud of myself! haha!

  • I'm proud of you too! ;)

  • yes i do as matter of fact

  • Great! I guess. :D

  • Is this the only one you have on YouTube or do you have a web site? I want to learn more French from you...ur a very good teacher in my opinion. =) You have a God given gift, Thank you for taking time to teach pple like me. =)

  • Hey again, thanks heaps for the kind words! I am not a teacher and I'm not even fluent in french - I only studied french for about 2 years. I'm happy I could help you!

  • I love the way you teach French. I also like it that you have French spelling and English and how to pronounce it as well. Are you a teacher?

  • No I'm not! I in fact only studied french for a very short while in my Alevels. I'm happy you like it :)

  • Ok this is better! Very simple words with menaing & pronunciation. Other videos are fast. Thanks!

  • Glad you like it!

  • this video actually helped me alot better than others.

    Thanks lol

  • I´m glad! Now go learn german with my german video ;D

    Thx for watching!

  • DISS LOL FUNNY

  • Um, well, great!

  • I like your video its helped me out :)

  • That´s great :)

  • wow, sorry to say, but your french is horrible

  • Ok, hope you make a video to correct me.

    Thx for watching.

  • Do you teach French?

  • Only in my videos ;)

  • What is the diferent between: ¿¿ça va" and comment ça va??

  • There is no difference :) I was just repeating everything I said so one does not have to replay the video.

    Thanks for watching!

  • nice video, i love the picture of the hello kitty exhaust pipe! lol

  • hehe it's cute, isn't it? ;)

  • Isn't... Je t'aime.. I love you? As oppose to i like you....

I also didn't think ca va was pronounced ca wa?!!

  • The words in brackets are pronouncation aids, the actual spelling (without the accents) is above.

Je t'aime does mean I love you but I wrote J' t'aime bien, what is common speech ("slang" if you will) for I like you.

  • voila!!

    merci beaucoup pour la lecon!!

  • Ha ^^ de rien

  • good graphic

  • Thanks :) (all pics belong to their owners...blahblah :D)

  • nice voice!

i have a friend who speaks old french who live in quibec,

i figured since he knows both english and french.

(hes not a master of either)

i could teach him some english and in return he could teach me french?

but then again since he lives in canada our times are WAY off.

  • I know some quebecoise (sorry to all people from there if I misspelled that), canadian french is different to european french but still good to know when you live closer to the canadian border. Weekend night learning will be your way to avoid the timezone problem, I s'pose. I'm sure your friend will appreciate the language exchange :)

  • im in love with the voice lol.

  • He, well thank you ;)

  • lol

  • oh really thanks i didnt know that.i will have to remember salut is a casual way of saying bonjour.thanks for telling me that.thanks. NO SARCASM relly.

  • Even if, sarcasm is quite fun ;)

  • Bravo!Francais is my fav subject,Iam not sure if salut is the word for hello(its actully bonjur).

  • Thx for you comment! As much as I know, bonjour is 'good day' or 'good morning', salut is more the casual way of saying "hello!" as a general greeting but it doesn't really matter, does it ;)

  • I took college french for a year (1st,2nd,3rd term) and bonjour is more of a hello as opposed to salut. Like Kitty said, it more casual and used among friends but for 1st acquaintance type stuff bonjour is better. More formal. At least that's what I was taught.

  • ^ you are right, bonjour is more formal & salut is more common language :)

  • You're pronunciation is really off.

  • O sorry, you could make a similar video and post it? I'm happy to accept answering videos :)

  • yeah, maybe i'll make the time :S

  • i have to agree with herter1, your pronunciation sucks nuggets

  • That's very well, so why don't you make a video and correct me so I can learn too? :)

    Have a good day.

  • its the best ! please post more lessons

  • Hehe thx, it ain't the best but I'm trying. Anything you want to learn specifically?

  • thank you very much sexy kitty

  • uh um...merci.

  • thank you

  • You are welcome!

  • quatre is wrong. You were saying the number 14. 4 is pronounced by saying "cat" .

  • No, she is saying quatre right. she is saying it the proper way. "cat" is simplified version.

    Quatorze is 14. cat-orze.

  • Nice thnx

  • You're welcome!

  • very helpful

  • That's very good to hear! Happy learning :)

  • good

  • Thanks :)

  • thank you kitty for providing the pronunciation...your video is very clear,

    merci beaucoup

  • De rien! (d' ree-ah), I'm happy you like it :)

  • this is very good. I cant wait to learn french. i already know greek and arabic :)

  • Oh lucky! I can only count in arabic & greek, it's pretty cool you know it! :D

  • thats great! I only know it because my parents speak it. But i really want to know if there is any website that you know that would help me learn French more or better..thanks :)

  • I personally find it hard to learn over websites, frenc has a difficult pronouncation, it might be better to get a Skype-Partner and do language exchange! You speak 3 languages already, you can change lessons with someone, that is very helpful imo. Also watching french movies helps, best are cartoons & what about a year in a french speaking country?

  • merci!!!

  • de rien :)

  • Merci, J'aime... Snoopy also!! Hee hee...Au revoir.

  • Snoopy rocks ;)

    Salut!

  • i'am about to learn french, but you video has litte mistakes, but i do like the pictures and the w-eet thing:

ca va should be ça va

j' t' aime bien should be je t'aime bien

    greatings from good old germany

  • hey steinbg,

the ca va thing wasn't possible with my moviemaker ;) but you are right of course :)

the j' t'aime bien is slang, and my video is for simple conversational french, so streetslang is appropriate

    merci :)

    Kitty

  • merci!

  • de rien :)
