you make it hard men ju jus need 2 blow it whti air compressed mix a little decreazer and wd40 mix it and pray it on it every where but remeber 2 cover the intake with a ziplock and the elctro part but yo wil dont spary direct on them ok spray it let some seconde than spray with water really fast let it wash away then blow again with aircompress and tha you spray a little wd40 2 protect the parts easy

to get rid of excess alcohol, just use a lighter. Dont worry, the car wont burn because when the alcohol evaporates the flames go out

I used the rest of my nitro to clean the car NO MORE DONT DO IT PEOPLE!

It has oil in in so it makes your car oily and greasy. Use alcohol and air presure like traxxas did =)

why do u guys use these chemicals all it ends up doin is maken these rc cars look beat 2 hell. ask the companys where u buy ur cars from 4 the best way 2 clean them. id rather use a damp towel and air compresser 2 clean my r c at leat i know its not damaging my finish and its keepen my car lookin new, all the chemicals over time will wear down the finish and might even weaken the body part. all u have 2 do is look at the rc cars and c wat kinda condition its in .

all i do with my hot bodies lightning 2 rr with a 4.6 in it is i take all the servos off and battery box.then take the tires off itand i wet it....(keep glow plug in) i scrub it with a tooth brush then i wet it again to get off the dirt then i spray everything with scrub and bubles motor muffler everything but plug ur carboator with sometin.dangit i droped my progi...owell thern i empty out the gas tank run water through it and take the fuel lines out and blow through the lines... its confusing

the rubbing alcohol will not harm the radio equipment (not saying drown you reciever in it, but the alcohol will evaporate out

@nitroboys25 uh did u ever think of maybe air duster like what you would use for a computer lol. all u need is some form of compressed air and with air duster you have a straw to aim it where you want it. it does work ive used it myself. maybe not the greatest with the alcohol but works great for getting the loose dirt and rocks out.

I recommend using denatured alcohol since it has no water content like isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol)

i just take off all the main parts of my 1/8th scale buggy i.E engine gears fuel tank ex

i spend like 2 hours doing so and this is the best way to do it so u can look for any mising bolts and nuts and to make sure that yer servos and all that are ok also the bearings for any new guys to the rc world DO NOT WASH YOR RC IN ANY WATER ITS A VERY BAD IDEA

This is a very good cleaning method, the best alternative to stripping your chassis and cleaning by hand. Also if you want something a little better than the rubbing alcohol you can pick up something called "Nitro Force" from a hobby store or online. It's a very powerful cleaner that will clean up anything. It's even safe on all your plastics.

Instead of the Alcohol I would suggest using WD-40 a small nylon bristol brush and then blow the dirt and grime off with the high pressure air, WD-40 will penetrate the grime, it will dilute any oil and it is perfectly safe on all the electronics, radio, servos ect. the high pressure nozzle on the WD-40 can will remove a lot of the grime before the air is used. and WD-40 smells pretty good as well..another plus is that it will lubricate the suspension components as you clean.

use break parts cleaner it works better and it eats oil. it works great and drys so fast it never gets in anything but it leaves everything looking like it had a white coating on it. to get rid of that just use wd40 and that will make it look like it was brand new.

@alexdevries420 i tried wd40 & it works really nice. gets all the moving parts nice & clean but at the same time lubricates it. however after.... you have to wipe excess wd40 with a paper towel. my engine is well clean & runs extremely nice! i just tried a 30% nitro fuel & my rc flys!!! LOVE IT!

What I do is strip the whole car so all the parts are infront of me then spray them with simple green then get a rag and go around every part so they are all back to working and new state then rebuild my car

Well I cant tell completely, I think he is using a adjustable blower so than he does'nt have to go full power. I use a pin blower which you can adjust how much air comes out. I think he just meant have a lot of air stored in your in your compressor.
