　愛すべき、スーパーカブをぶち壊すとは・・・・許せん。　頑丈さばかりが強調されているが、スーパーカブのすごいところは­、信じられないくらいにコントローラぶるなこと。　雨の日にコーナーでスリップしても、挙動がゆっくりでしかも限界­点が掴みやすいので、逆ハンを切ってカウンターをあてることで簡­単にブレーキング・ドリフト状態にすることができ、とても安定性­が高い。　高速でも安定しており70キロメートルの速度でも、50CCとは­とても思えないくらいに安定していたことをよく覚えている。　山道の曲がりくねった下りコーナーでは、シフト・ロックを使うこ­とでブレーキングドリフト状態を維持しながらコーナーを攻めるこ­とができる。　パワーがないので、パワー・ドリフトには持ち込めないが、ドリフ­トをマスターするのに格好のマシンだった。　そんな愛すべきスーパーカブをぶっ壊すなんて狂気の沙汰、許せな­い。

Try doing that to a Suzuki or a Kawasaki, or any other moped or motocycle, it would be completely destroyed. But not the Honda! You can chuck it off a building and the motor would still run, replace the frame and you have a new bike! Cooking oil in the motor, and it runs even better! In other bikes, forget it!

First bike i rode in 1963. We took that bike out to the Huachuca Mountains. 2 of us, with a 30-30 and 30-06, camping gear, heading out towards Bisbee, Az getting up to 35-40mph after a bit. Made a oval track, 2nd gear wide open. It ran and ran.

I remember biker goons trying to kill a Honda CB750 @ Daytona. They emptied it of oil & tried to grenade the engine. They stuck the throttle open and the engine continued to run until it ran out of gas. They put more gas in and it started right up again. They eventually lynched it & set it on fire. Some locals came by, took it down and trucked it off. It's probably back on the road.
