  • that was pretty friggin awesome....never noticed it before.....but now i prlly wont get it out my mind when i watch avatar

  • i love you for making this

  • This is well done :D ,awesOme !!

Ofcourse there are similarities cause ALL "those" stories are about the Real History of the land of the "Americas" being stolen From the "Natives" by the Euro people that where greedy and wanted to own everything and wanting more ,. instead of being thankfull for what they already have

  • Ur amazing

  • This looks real..

  • I love this amazing well done :) xxx

  • This was epic... people like you are so talented!

  • Turns out Disney's now making a Avatar themed land in Animal Kingdom! The construction is supposed to start in 2013, and take about three years.

  • @potterfandf The fact that Disney and James Cameron will be working together on this, is the most exciting part! There's a lot of people who are angry about it this, but I think it's ridiculous. Avatar draws upon the same principles of the environmental-based park. It's going to be incredible!

  • I once took a college class in which I had to do an entire essay/project drawing similarities between 'Avatar' and 'Pocahontas.' I should have just presented this video and been done with it.

  • nicely recut

  • i lhgfdtgkigfdfghgfcdxfghgvf thats all mother fuckers >:D

  • when they said THIS IS OUR LAND , i thought they were going to say THIS IS SPARTA ! :)

  • Avatar should have just been called Pocahontas: 3D

  • it still kills me that theyre not together

  • Last Samurai at least plagiated this into some interesting cultural and historical context

  • Thomas as Norm = perfect.

  • This is too perfect. OMG. I am in awe. BRAVO!

  • This is sooo good

  • agreed. it had to be done.

  • Loved this!! :D 100000000000/5!

  • James Cameron actually admitted it.. kinda. He got away by saying Disney's Pocahontas was an "inspiration" to him for Avatar.

  • this makes me want to see pocahontas! then i realized the movie is not at all like this!

  • ..

    wow

  • you amaze me...each and every time

  • i really like your videos

  • I agree, it had to be done.

  • I liked this one even more than the Disney Mean Girls one. You truly do have a talent :-)

  • Wow, this is amazing, I agree with @Armagon Author, that is a true fact that Cameron did base it on the story of Pocahontas, brilliantly done! :)

  • This is amazing. Really, really superbly done. (:

  • gooooooose bumps! this is good =) good job

  • this is really well done! good use of timing and creativity! you obviously have a fabulous imagination for these things well done! :)

  • wow that was amazing

makes the whole pocahontas story seem so much more dramatic... haha =D

  • very nice!

  • :,(

  • NICE!

  • I always said that Avatar stole the plot from Pocahontas and Atlantis. At least I'm not the only one who can see the similarities. :P

  • @ArmagonAuthor I always said that too, but its still a good movie. : )

  • @ArmagonAuthor well actually avatar stoll the plot from history! when the pilgrims came to america!

  • @lombification

Haha well I realize that lol. But I mean more specifically how the soldier helps the princess from a native tribe rescue her land from those who HE had brought. And even some of the scenes from Avatar were taken from Pocahontas.

  • @ArmagonAuthor Except Cameron wrote the ENTIRE script like a year before Pocahontas came out.

If you actually did some research he said he got inspiration from a series of books.

  • @Sociopathics

I never said he stole the script, and I never said anything about where he claimed to have gotten his inspiration, only what was obviously similar between the two movies. And it takes much MUCH longer than a year to produce a 2D animated picture like Pocahantas, so obviously the script was written at least a year before the movie came out. They could have easily gotten inspiration from similar works, however.

  • @ArmagonAuthor James Cameron admitted that he got the idea for Avatar from watching Pocahontas. He never denied the similarities.

  • @ArmagonAuthor u forgot ferngully

  • @ArmagonAuthor Yeah :D I saw it too but...

Ofcourse there are similarities cause ALL "those" stories are about the Real History of the land of the "Americas" being stolen From the "Natives" by the Euro people that where greedy and wanted to own everything and wanting more ,. instead of being thankfull for what they already have

  • @ArmagonAuthor Avatar didn't steal the plot from Pocahontas or Atlantis. It stole it from FernGully!!

  • And i think it's similar with atlantis, it's like a mix between those two

  • ah this is awesome

  • they're both great movies. just because something is not completely original (which is extremely rare) does not take away from how enjoyable, interesting and compelling it is.

  • I have been saying that Avater is a technologically advanced Pocahontas since the beginning... thanks for finally validating.

    P.s amazing.

  • This actually makes me want to see Pocahontas.

  • It's because Avatar sucks and it's basically the same movie with some special effects. Pocahontas is way better than Avatar.

  • This is totally amazing. Great job!!

  • this is amazing...im in awe! you are so talented

  • So good!

  • this is freaking awsome
