How can you live in Canada? I thought it's difficult to live there as an American, would've done it myself. Instead, moved to Europe with my partner. Hope you guys are happy, you look like it.

If the gay community had opted to use the term "Civil Unions" instead of "Marriage", this would not even be an issue, but the term "Marriage" has turned a lot of people against the gay community. Why not "Civil Unions" with all the rights of a marriage?

Living in Texas and being a Christian puts me in the company of a lot of anti-Gay marriage people...but I strongly disagree with everything they say. I don't really agree with everything that gay marriage would entail, but I could tolerate it. And that's the word I think more people need to understand. Just because you don't totally agree with something, doesn't mean you should deny people their rights as an American. You should learn to view it as love and just focus on you're on life

True times will change but what of the ones of us that are older. We don't have a lot of time left. I certainly have had thoughts of moving to Canada. For one thing, it makes me angry that I have to pay taxes and support a government that denies me my basic civil right to persue happiness.
