You know, these remind me, in the best possible way, of XBOXAhoy's weapon breakdown vids. They're more helpful, however, because they deal with pieces of equipment that, without knowledge, might stand useless in a player's arsenal. With Merrell's education, everyone becomes a more effective team player. Thanks for putting these together Sarge!

i would love one of these for the different types of M320 grenade launchers, i know merrell will need to unlock them first but if used correctly and not just a noob tube i bet they could be serious problems, similer to the mortar with the smokes

from what i've seen, the beacon only seems to destroy itself if YOU spawn on it and you placed it, not sure if this is a ps3 glitch or something that was meant to be in

you only spawn in parachutes when placing the beacon outside on a rooftop or a high place.. this can be used to bugg aswell :) you place it outside, spawn on it and parachute to a rooftop that you arnt supposted to be on and then snipe people from that point.. great sniper tip xD

As a former Infantry Scout I can tell you that we never carried that radio. We carried the SINCGARS. You are right about the radios being heavy though. Plus the stupid batteries to go with it, easily put your ruck close to 100lbs. That was until we switched over to the RT-1523 variant of the SINCGARS, which is far lighter.

If you put the radio beacon inside the mountain on Damavand Peak, you will spawn inside the mountain, or at least thats what happens to me anyways. So that can be pretty effective.

Also, equipment in general is glitched. Say you put down a Radio Beacon, but respawn as a different class, it will still be there after spawn. Same goes with the Engineer for AT mines, and Claymores for the Support class. Its a pretty useful glitch if you use it right, although I'm sure it will be patched.

@FlairPhoenix I don't think so. If you lay down mines, but respawn as an Engineer, your mines are now gone. Same with Claymores for Support. Same with the RAdio Beacon if you respawn as Recon. Seems like a glitch to me.

you only parachute in on maps that have vehicles, from what i've noticed anyways. it only blows up if you stick with the recon kit. if you change kits after placing the beacon you can keep on spawning on it without it dissappearing.

@tsiglos also if you know you are parachuting in you can get to some nice places that you wouldn't usually be able to get to. like on noshar canals you can get to the cranes if you place the beacon a little ways away from it and spawn in. if you put it right beside the building or tower that you want to get on it is tricky to parachute on to it
