yo hows the 6 string esp, i currently have a ESP LTD BX155 for my 5 string and its pretty nice i just havnt had a chance to play the 6 strings for esp, so what do you think of it bro u seem pretty good

@Ru1eBritannia The point of six string bass is two more strungs: low B which is very usefull if you want some parts to soud heavier and lower or if you're playing along to 7 string guitar and high C which is very useful in soloing or playing high guitar parts. The truth is that on that bass you can play almost everything. that's the point

@Ru1eBritannia The top sting is tuned to B which is essential for a lot of metal. It's easier than dropping the E string all the way down. And the bottom string is a D string. Which just gives a wider range of notes.

I'm a guitarist and I can get this 6 string bass for 300 euros.. Is it a good first bass for a guitarist qualitywise? Is it a wellbuilt instrument?

@xDannyDeathcorex well it's a great instrument wellbuilt with great pickups but I must say that it was so hard to learn how to use it. I was playing bass for 5 years when i bought it and it was so fucking hard. It's quite heavy (about 7kilos)and it has massive thick and long (35 inch scale) neck. So I don't recomend it for first bass. First try with 4 string then add next ones :D
