My first exposure to Macca WAS in the 1980s & I expected his output to be like his output in the 1960s in terms of quality & it was a disappointing pointless dead collection of music. I listened to his stuff from the 70s and it was still pretty bad. He hasn't got any better over the years. I did like 'Mull of Kintyre' when it was in the charts though.

It's fine and he a is a damn clever producer but the ideas stopped flowing a long long time ago. Should have stopped a long time ago.

I'm old enough to remember 'Mull of Kintyre' which when I was 10 sounded ok, but I know now to be utter shite.
