I know I have commented on this song before but, I have listened to it many times since hearing this rendition for the first time and it is still the most beautiful rendition I have ever heard. Just can't get enough of it.

The roses are beautiful, Darlene, My Daddy loved roses. He could plant roses and nurture them and they were beautiful. He grew a rose that was cross-bred . It was yellow with a hint of red. Here from Newfoundland & Labrador. Personally, I prefer the Newfoundland version with the accordion and higher singing pitch, but since such an old version of that is impossible to find on the internet, I thank you for having a southern version as well.

Beautiful arrangement! I wish your roses were of better resolution though. That would make a world of difference. Can you rescan them at a highter resolution of about 300 and reupload them. This would make the video usable for a memorial service.
Well, the Video is really what matters with the great singing. I want this song at my memorial service so that is the reason I wanted the roses in better resolution. I probably am more aware of resolution than the average as I work with digital photos.
Esther, that is nice to know but I know nothing about it. My daughter had posted these on a web site that I could go in there and look at them so I just saved them into my picuture folder. Like I said I know nothing about it and again I am sorry.

Another beautiful gospel, first heard in a small Freewill Baptist Church in Tennessee years ago...We lived in Florida at the time..now we are in Tennessee where songs like this are available to hear on the radio and of course church!! I love roses so for me I really identify with going to "where the roses never will fade & no more pain or missing family already gone on!!! Thank you again for the lovely messsage in gospel music!!!

I have come to love this song and really like how it is done here. It takes me back to my childhood listening to bluegrass on top of Signal Mountain in Chattanooga, TN.
I also come back to listen to this video. I can feel the Lord's presence. Alot of other gospel music is excellent, but this one brings the thoughts of heaven closer to my heart.

This is a great rendition of "Where The Roses Never Fade". This was our dear sweet pastor's favorite song. He went to be with the Lord last year and I know he is enjoying the roses. Thanks for this recording.

Beautiful arrangement! I wish your roses were of better resolution though. That would make a world of difference. Can you rescan them at a highter resolution of about 300 and reupload them. This would make the video usable for a memorial service.

Well, the Video is really what matters with the great singing. I want this song at my memorial service so that is the reason I wanted the roses in better resolution. I probably am more aware of resolution than the average as I work with digital photos.

Esther, that is nice to know but I know nothing about it. My daughter had posted these on a web site that I could go in there and look at them so I just saved them into my picuture folder. Like I said I know nothing about it and again I am sorry.

Another beautiful gospel, first heard in a small Freewill Baptist Church in Tennessee years ago...We lived in Florida at the time..now we are in Tennessee where songs like this are available to hear on the radio and of course church!! I love roses so for me I really identify with going to "where the roses never will fade & no more pain or missing family already gone on!!! Thank you again for the lovely messsage in gospel music!!!

I have always loved this beautiful old song. Thank you Loretta for sharing it. What a wonderful family this is with their fine talent. This song always reminds me of my grannie who loved old songs like this. She played a fiddle in her younger days and the gospel songs were her favorites. Songs like this will never grow old. Yes, a great song,hymn. I have heard it at many funerals. Lot's of nice versions. Rev. Roy Martin, a singing Clergyman here in Newfoundland does a nice version of this one. Who recorded the original?

Hey, Darlene, I remember watching this right after you posted it! (actually watched it 2x trying to figure out the names of some of the roses I liked). Forgot to comment I guess. Those senior moments! lol. They do a great job on this old song. I remember singing it when I was growing up.
