I remember a radio station called New Wave FM in 1996 and 1997 in Sydney Australia which use to run on Fridays and Saturday. It was a legal station which only had a temporary license. It was very popular for the Youths but they were ceased because they were refused a new license. Stupid Broadcasting Authorities should be ashamed. They make things so difficult. No wonder why people pirate radio.
The lads runnin the pirates were the real heroes to me back then givin thousands including myself hours of top vibes with awesome sets and great line ups of up and comin unknown djs and mcs, until the killjoy authorities came along and ruined it all the b******s :(
R.I.P. dream fm - gone but by no means forgotten x
Back in 93....the DTI was saying then that pirate radio interferes with Aircraft and it could cause a crash blah blah....so why has there not been one single plain crash incident yet related to pirate radio?....the DTI are a load of Nazis!
Authorities are bitches, who, like all money gluttonest pigs, dont like radio unless they make big dollars and they tell you what to listen to, not what you want to hear!
I totally agree with you!! When you tune up and down the dial you hear the same music which we are forced to listen to by the legal stations. I once heard the same tune being played by 3 commercial stations all at the same time....
I WANT TO DO THIS!
