Starship Troopers doesn't deserve that name. It is supposedly based on the book Starship Troopers by Robert A. Heinlein, but resembles it in only three ways: a guy joins the military, there are bugs, and Buenos Aeries gets smashed by a bug asteroid. Other than that, there is no relation. Heinlein wrote Starship Troopers as a treatise on a future government, and it was a wonderful book. I am offended by how a movie that exists solely as an excuse to shoot bugs and rip human's apart bears the name

Great song. I love how the troopers seem to have taken combat lessons from Marco Rossi and Bill Rizer- charging headlong into battle, screaming bloody hell and not even bothering to take cover except when something explodes. Hilarious.

The last time I heard the "metal will never die" spiel done this well was way back when Gamma Ray's GODLY "Powerplant" album came out (anyone remember "Heavy Metal Universe"?).
