He has been pretty active. His daughter is one of his backup singers when he performs. There is a very light rasp to his voice but he performs the songs the same way, encouraging people to sing along and dance. Saw him in 2009. Awesome show!

For those who grew up in the old Bendel State of Nigeria in the mid 80s to early 90s, this song reminds one of the indefatiguable radio presenter "MAY NWOKO", the "mystery lady" of the then Bendel Broadcasting Service, Benin City. This song always served as an intro anytime she takes over as DCA. Those were the good old days! I wonder where she is now!
