  • Nice tune, but sounds just like an attempt to regain their former grandeur that was more natural back in the day and the lyrics are mediocre compared to their eighties stuff...

Also Chris Martin seems to have listened way too much to later Bunnymen... I always get surprised by the fact he sounds so much like Ian.

  • i love this - they look like they are having a blast....best band on the planet!!!!!!

  • what type of guitar is that that he is using?

  • Brilliant, really brilliant.

    F_ ing gorgeous chorus.

  • Great song! Great video! Great album!

  • electrafixion

  • me too pixie!yum yum!

  • He can be there when I come anytime!

  • Great video and Bunnymen all ageing well! Nice to see Ian dancing about, they are fab

  • What is the chances of the greatest guitar player and singer ever meeting.....1 in a million and that is when Will met Ian in Liverpool in the early 80's.....Come on.... PURE BRILLANCE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • "I Want to be there (when You Come)"....is that a loaded title or what?

  • TUNE

  • EVERGREEN - now that was the best comeback in history from the best band in the world!

  • Great song

  • so do they not have the original drummer in this video, it seems like the drummer is left out of all the shots.

  • Um, you surely must have known by now that the original drummer (Pete de Freitas)was killed in a motorcycle accident back in 1998. Right?

  • oh no actually I didn't. I listened to them some growing up and really didn't follow them but did get to see them at the HFStival in DC who I think someone else mentioned on here.

  • 1988

  • when did they do killing moon, because it looks like the drummer guy I have always seen, just curious.

  • killing moon was 1983 !

  • Hmmm..... So they put the drummer in the killing moon video after he died I guess. But then again all the dates for cd release could be sort of fake as far as when the actual album came out. So he probably died after ocean rain. Guess I'm just piecing it all together.

  • no , he was alive then as i got his autograph outside the albert hall in london , and ian's...

  • No Pete de Freitas drummer died in 1989, he got killed in a motorbike crash abroad, was shocked to hear it back then on the radio! Bunnymen had always been around together since the late 70's and punk etc!Great band live in the 80's as I saw them several times and they were all at their best, not seen them since but believe they are still going strong and Ian and Will have aged well!Would be nice if Les rejoined them on a tour!!

  • R.I.P PETE 2 August 1961 - 14 June 1989

  • Are you a guy or a girl?

  • In '97 they came to DC to play the HFStival at RFK stadium and I did makeup backstage for the bands. I put lip gloss on Ian!

  • I am jealous! I love Ian and well, I love the Hfstival. I was suppose to see them play the 2005 HFStival, but Ian was so drunk and he couldn't sing so they just walked off the stage.

  • looks like a MOSRITE

  • What make of guitar is will playing in this video? Boy, Will and Les have definitely packed a couple lbs. on since the "Back Of Love" video.

  • sounds like a mary chain song.payback

  • uh, these guys came b4 JMC.

    <3 this band

  • Great song!

    Great video!

    Great album!

GREAT BAND ECHO & THE BUNNYMEN!!!
