i did this differently

easier way:

1.grab the cape

2.get to the first trampoline and grab it

3.go down 2 lvls to the base of where the trampoline was--the place just to the right of where he puts his tramp in this vid

4.back up as much as you can in that short little area and run towards the tube

5.when you hit jump right before the ledge your mario will fly up like he got the powerjump+capeboost even though he didnt have enough room to get that.

You can do it without the spring if you just run and jump off the platform where you originally place the shell and then do the shell jump.
