yes me too. this lovely song was stuck in my head since the 90s. i just finished playing this song with my acoustic, sitting in my car right in front of the lake. about the lyrics it's so true...there's heartbreak in every relationship...breaking up is like getting laid off from your job after 14 years. that's how i felt. i'm still living in the past...it's not healthy

this song means, that u love someone but u know that the problems u have with that person can't be fixed and although the love is there, sometimes love just isn't enough to keep u together.also saying u don't want to stay with that person just because u don't want to be alone.anyways that is my interpretation.hope this helps.

This song reminds me of my house fire and it reminds me of my first love i have been threw hell and back and i would not wish it on anyone but its been since 2000 and this song almost makes me cry sometimes this song is so true life is to short and people need to learn that im glad i learned it at a young age just sad i had to learn it the hard way but its how it is i guess this song makes me think big time about life in general i think its a strong song and personal and everyone should hear it
