  • ahahahahhaha me gusto :O

  • Really now, So Terry had that same dam Jacket and hat since Childhood? lmao I'm glad I did skip this on the store shelves and waited for the next game.

  • @HuntersX2NCreations I know! I mean I could buy this being the first time Terry gets his hat let's say (like maybe if they had Jeff give it to him for the first time in this intro), but him having the vest too? That was a bit much.

  • Ten years after this fateful day, Terry Bogard still had not changed his clothes.

  • @mrmacross LOL! Timeless fashion!!

  • @mrmacross ernist takes revenge on Geese.

  • That bald guy at 1:08 reminds me of Rude from FFVII Advent

  • Andy and Terry look like if they were Geese´s sons

  • Reminds me of Shunmue ...except, you know, without the parts that suck.

  • Fatal Fury Wild Ambition (Hyper Neo Geo 64) Graphics: 9/10 Sound: 9/10 Game play: 9/10 Fun Factor: 8/10 Overall: 35/40 (8.75/10) Grade: B+ Fatal Fury Wild Ambition (PlayStation 1) Graphics: 8/10 Sound: 9/10 Game play: 9/10 Fun Factor: 10/10 Overall: 36/40 (9/10) Grade: A-
  • So THAT'S why he never takes off his hat!

  • Even KoF '94 arcade is better than this

In any case 'modern stuff' doesn't mean FUN.

  • This would make a tight movie... graphics wise I mean... speaking of... they need to come up with a fourth movie since Geese survived.... Been itchin my balls waitin

  • Nice...

I mean, "it's fairly primitive compared to modern stuff", but you can see that, even they not having enough technology (back then), with a little effort and good work, it doesn't show up to be a bunch of flat low poly stuffs... It looks damn good!

  • Hey EVERYONE!!! How AWESOME would it had been if SNK had developed JEFF BOGARD a playable character in a FATAL FURY game! Ahhh...just thinking about that makes me get goosebumps!!! Imagine: Jeff Bogard VS Geese Howard.....that would have been LEGENDARY!

  • I have been wishing they would make Jeff a playable character since 1994. Sad as I am to say it, it ain't gonna happen. T_T

  • According to this video, it wouldn't be that legendary at all. It'd just be a sound beating.

But that would be an awesome fight to have in-game.

  • One of the best intros ever for a great title. Hahahahahaha...

  • he's not there actual father, he adopted them that's why ... :)

  • teery and andy anre adopted not real sons =D

  • Thanx for the info. That explains it.

  • thats what i thought too i was like wow who is jeff's wife i wana meet her probably shes american xD but found out theyre adopted lol

  • The backstory of KOF, FF and AOF is a very mercurial and unstable thing...

  • @primer321 You're wrong...Why? Just check the Art of Fighting 2 ending. Right there one of Geese servants said something about Jeff Bogard. Remember that AOF2 takes place a YEAR after AOF.

  • This intro looks really cool.

  • Bald man with mustage must be in 95% Mr Big

  • The two guys that are always flanking Geese are Ripper and Hopper, his two closest bodyguards (not including Billy).

  • Southtown looks a little bit to much like New York. It feels wrong, and not so SNK!

  • Agreed. The original concept was cool.

  • The best intro of all videogames. Terry's rules!!!! [2]

  • The best intro of all videogames. Terry's rules!!!!

  • This intro is awesome. 10/10.

  • You know. If Terry did not remeber he droped his hat. Terry would have been a huge bloody road kill.

  • lol! Did Jeff Bogard even connect any attacks on Geese?..He got owned big time!!!

  • A melhor abertura de jogos de luta que já existiu na minha opinião, tanto o filme quanto a música

  • the animation is quite good for a PS1 console.....really like this intro.LOL

  • Well it is an FMV and not a real-time cut-scene. Either way, the intro has some pretty good production values. It looks almost as good as the FMV in RE3.

  • Hey, look at that, Jeff has his design from the anime. That's nice of them

  • wow for a ps1 game it looks great..its looks like a real city

  • Man i love this intro!, thanks for the upload!!

  • Now the big question is: which true-blooded American fighter will win - Terry Bogard or Alex (From Street Fighter III)?

  • Terry Bogard, all the way!

  • Jeff Bogard looks like a pure an upright person. They animated him very well.

  • Jeeze theres a lot of bull shit in this topic. Ryu lost to Ken once but Ken didn't count it as Ryus mind was clouded. Ryu has not lost to Akuma. Akuma refused to fight him saying Ryu had not reached his full potential and finaly Ryu lost to Oro in SFIII not Alex. He then became Oros student.

  • "and finaly Ryu lost to Oro in SFIII not Alex. He then became Oros student."

I like this part. Well said!

  • The greatest story in all Beat'em up series briefly explained in a 06:28 video.

  • ryu wins over terry? no freakin way.

  • boooommmm

  • Sorry the last two comments were not from Shoryuken612. Ryu fighting weak opponents and Terry Regaining his victory were my comments. Anyway atleast I explain my reasons

  • Jeff Bogard looked cool. Too bad he never was in any games.

  • DOH! x_x Ok thank you

  • yeah but I thought that it has a name, like for example a karate uniform is called a "Gi" and the samurai wear a kimino.

  • It's actually a Hakama, the uniform that Geese wears and also samurai's wear. A kimono is the thing that women wear, like a geisha or someone. Traditional Japanese woman would wear a kimono!

  • Kimono are unisex. It's not at all unusual for men to wear them (though it is considered old-fashioned).

  • What do you call that Outfit that Jeff Bogard was wearing?

  • It is a kung fu suit, just like the ones Bruce Lee used to wear and other Chinese martial artists (Kung Fu practitioners).

  • Yeah I know what it is, I just wanted to know the exact name. I believe in China they call it a "Tang Zhuang"

  • The graphics look like that for playstation? are we looking at the same game?

  • This is not in game and yes they do seem a bit to good

  • Fatal Fury will forever be the best and original game title for the Neo-Geo SNK Corp. A Classic Story Between an avenger and a murderer. Also Terry The Legendary Lone Wolf Bogard can never be forgotten or defeated and will never back down from a fight especially if the opponent is tough to beat. O-Kay

  • Greatest comment ever...

  • That's right looks like we got a real Fatal Fury fan.

  • Ryu can DEFEAT terry. Even though I like terry, I like ryu alot more. But then again we don't know whos gonna win. That we have to wait and see my friend.

  • Ryu only fights weak fighters and I believe the only fighter that he fought and lost was Akuma. Unlike Terry he fights opponents who are not normal like Geese, Krauser, Yamazaki Omega Rugal he would even fight Orochi Iroi if he knew fighting him will make him stronger. What Terry said in FF2 the movie( If your strong U don't need to pick on weaker guys do you).

  • Ryu lost to Ken and Alex in SF3 Alex won and Ryu beat Alex at the end, but Alex beat Ryu first.

  • yep

  • He lost to Gouki too.

  • Not really true. If you heard of the first Street Fighter game, Ryu fought Chinese martial arts masters Gen and Lee, and also, he fought with Muay Thai champions Adon and Sagat, once known as "The King of Street Fighters".

And he gave Sagat that shoryuken scar on his chest.

  • Dude terry was defeated by Wolfgang krauser. Remember fatal fury movie 2.

  • Terry Regain his victory and for that Ryo, Kyo, Iori and K-Prime can't touch him.

  • FYI, K' is pronounced "Kay-dash." No "prime" in there.

  • join my group, if u ppl want to join my group then click on my name and then click groups on the top and then click on the second one after that u just press join group

  • i love this intro....ill see it over and over and never get tired of it...now if only somebody can post the ending credits song at the end...i miss that part!!!

  • I have a video of the ending credits song on my page.

  • BEST VIDEO GAME INTRO EVER!!!

  • WOW, As I saw Jeff(Terry's Father) give him his hat I saw mines too and I was wearing it at the exact time ! WOW, makes me part of the story.

  • Lol oops got a little carried away there, I do that sometimes, but it's alot quicker than making a site for all that information :P I have more too...

  • and the ability to import a character from one game into another by loading the save file, so you load an Art of Fighting save file into Fatal Fury and you can play older versions of the characters you had in Art of Fighting. importing a character into a game that takes place after the game they are from ages that character acordingly, but does not alter their abilities at all. importing a character "Back in Time" does not alter them in any way.

  • at least the non unlockable characters, (he can call for a small limo to get from place to place, andy is just fast enough that he can outrun most cop cars and Terry has his bike) Multiplayer VS with large stages that have destructable environments, Multiplayer Story Mode,

  • the unlockable Costumes for Maximum Impact 1 and 2 for Terry. Fatal Fury 2 Billy, Real Bout Billy (seen in the video) Suit Geese, Gi Geese, Fatal Fury Anime Gi Geese, Anime Hopper and Ripper as well as "street clothes" that you can aquire throughout the game, Andy would simply leap out of his street clothes for combat and have his fighting clothes beneith so you don't have to keep replacing them, Joe rips his off but has ALOT more money than the other characters

  • so you can use Anime Andy with silver/gray/blue hair, or FF2 Andy, Real Bout Andy with the pony tail and mask, KOF Andy, KOF 2002 Andy, Original Terry with the rolled up sleves on his jacket, FF:LoHW Anime Terry with the Rolled up sleves and no star on the back, Metal Plate hat for Terry (seperate from the rest of his costume) Fatal Fury Hat, Plain Hat, King of Fighters Hat (that says King Of Fighters on it) Mark of the Wolves Terry,

  • so in the Fatal Fury one, you can play as either Andy, Terry or Joe, Lilly McGuire would be in there (who is a completely different character from Lilly Kane) there would be unlockable characters so you can play the game as Billy, Geese, and others, Unlockable costumes for each character,

  • the story for each would be a combination between the games and the Anime adaptations (if any) and Double Dragon would be bassed on the Rage of the Dragons, Streets of Rage would be an all new story bassed on the original.

  • damn dawg. niether streets of rage nor double dragon have anything to do with the SNK universe other than the fact that they are represented on NEO GEO

  • that doesn't mean that SNK can't put them in, especially because both franchises are pretty stagnant and SNK shoulden't have much problems securing the rights to them.

  • they'd be better off securing rights to ADK games (which they already did with world heroes). double dragon is already a solid franchise on its own, so please miss me with that comment.

  • each game would have historically acurate adds, music and fashion to set the tone of the era it takes place in, while Streets of Rage of course would be acurate only to it's original concept and theorized styles of the theoretical culture.

  • each time Southtown would look similar but different, in Art of Fighting there would be alot of open country and some construction zones around, each game would later have the city change and grow, some buildings would be abandoned in one game, then torn down and replaced in the next,

  • the city would be a living breathing city with people who have homes and go to work, come back and spend time with their families and such, kids go to school, might get into trouble and possibly join gangs and such. the idea is also to Southtown in 4 different time frames for 4 different games, Art of Fighting (1970s) Double Dragon (1980s) Fatal Fury (1991) and Streets of Rage (2036)

  • but yeah making a Fatal Fury game in a similar vein to a GTA game only with fully destructable environments would be really cool, and there would be a light side/dark side of sorts so if you say go around blowing up random buildings and killing civilians you rack up evil points like crazy, you would even be able to join/replace Geese howard at the end.

  • I had played this game on the PS1 a while back... they have some crazy throws in it but the controlls I found weren't very good, were rather unresponsive, and Terry moved really slow...

  • actually I had the idea long before I saw this vid, so it was almost painfull to watch heh.

  • Real time rendering for PS3 :P say I just had an idea, GTA: Southtown!

  • Now that would be pretty awesome.

  • i love how you got the footage for some awesome games!

  • pretty good for a old game
