MayerFan\ John has a gorgeous man's body but a totally wacked-out sense of bizarre humor. Recently the Press has been unfairly harsh because of the Jenn fiasco. I think he could spare himself future bad publicity if he stayed away from Hollywood babes. John Mayer deserves attention for the right reasons. He is a gifted songwriter, versatile guitarist and I love the way he uses his voice. John, your talents have made you a star. Shine on!

I've seen MANY interviews with him and I've read a lot of his writings. He does not drink. Plus, booze does not go well with the ol' alprazolam (xanax).

Later that night, after sleeping it off, he was talking about how he was switching to drinking water, cuz when has THAT ever been a bad decision? lol
Not to mention his fondness for good scotch, which he has discussed in public at some point. I heard a staff member on the boat talking about the scotch on his rider.
Actually he does. I was on the boat and witnessed it myself. At the disco he was pouring tequila shots and toasting with everyone. I also saw him taking a shot on the Lido deck during the day. And, of course there's the jokes about pina coladas and being hung over and water taking over as the drink of choice on the last night because "water never hurt anyone". And if you kept up with his blog he mentions enjoying scotch and calling his roommate to pick him up after a night of drinking.
What a ridiculously stupid thing to say. He's "far too intelligent" to drink? What kind of bullshit is that? And for the record, when he was younger he said he didn't drink or do any drugs, nowadays he's publicly admitted to smoking weed and getting very drunk. He gets drunk a lot, does that make him an idiot?
Like I said, he does that stuff once in a blue moon. And yes, if he got wasted frequently and got high a lot, that would definitely make him an idiot. That's what idiots/burnouts/losers do.
There are thousands of people far more intelligent than you who get high on a daily basis. I used to go to high school with the most intelligent person I've ever met, he smoked weed every day of his life. He is now attending Cornell University and will amount to far more in life than you ever could with that sort of narrow-minded view of the world.
He doesn't take Xanax on a regular basis. He keeps them in case of an emergency panic attack. I think he was only sober on Friday. Definitely drunk the rest of the trip.
