  • kholger, You did great for your first time. 90% of the people that post comments on the seadicam channels are idots! they know nothing about steadicams. If they read "The Steadicam Operator's Handbook, (only $40 U.S.) they would know that when you run or walk very fast you need your arm out for balance. The only tip I have is... Hold the gimble handle with your finger tips, (like you would hold a flute). Also checkout Tiffen's DVD on the use of the Steadicam... only $20 U.S.

  • Looks like a JVC GY HD110U....what was he planning on doing wit the other hand?? just wave it all over the place??? sheesh at least do a little research on your equipment.......for starters: one hand holds the sled by the handle and the other hand is used to adjust the direction in which the camera is pointing at.... come on people!!!!!
