On that annoying 6-4 cannon, it's also possible to do it on a single goomba, if you time your jump just right, so you land on him when he bounces up, after landing on the lowest level. That's how I got on there, my first time through. Took a ton of rewinding to finally get right!

WHOA. That jump around 3:54? Totally impossible. I can't do it. But there's a much easier way if anyone is having trouble - follow BEHIND the little goomba, not above him - literally walk behind him. When he drops down to the ground level and bounces a little (before he runs into the spikes), THAT'S when you jump on him and up onto the cannon.

At 7:00, instead of tapping reverse, hold fast forward.

7:20 - I tried using this method and failed miserably, BUT I managed to find another way to do it.

Put the ring under the rightmost plant to slow it down. Now there should be a window of time where all 3 plants are down. When all the plants are down, use the "0x" speed capability (press 'shift' and 'up') so that time freezes. Now your goombas can waltz safely across. I managed to get 5 goombas in a row this way, and jumping on enough of them to get up to the platform was easy-peasy :D

a lil tip for the last part...if you stand under the lil gap the first goomba you get through the plants will bounce off your head and back onto the ledge...stay there as long as you need

That last peace (in the stage with the cannons shooting cannon balls and enemies, with the diagonal enemy shooting one at the top left) has a much easier way of getting it without using the ring. Just stand on the edge of the mouth of the cannon, and jump off an enemy as he almost peaks, and you can get onto the platform by jumping off one enemy alone.

7:40 FUCKS MY HEAD. I slowed down the first plant, so more of those gumbas would get through, even figured out you can bounce them up again, if they fall of that plattform near the puzzlepiece, but I DON'T MANAGE TO FUCKING DOUBLEJUMP THOSE BASTARDS...

I managed to synchronize the plants using the ring, then I set the gamespeed to x0 when they were all down and let the lil guys just walk through. once I had enough through i unfroze time and attempted the jump.

at the end like it shows, I found that to be much easier.

At 7:10, I used the stupid slow mo thing... I wasn't getting anywhere, until i realized when i put it directly under one plant, it would affect the one beside it, so i put the slow mo thing between the (left to right) first and second plant so I could get the third plant to let them go by, then I put it to the left of the first plant to get the second, and to the edge to get the first lined up, which gave me a continuous

The trick at 3:45 seems near impossible, what I did was I waited for the goomba to get to the bottom (before he goes into the pit), and i jumped off the lowest ledge onto the goomba, which gave me enough moment to go up on the cannon, with one goomba.

Also, the trick at 5:00 seems completely unnecessary. What I did was place the time slower field(whatever it's called) on the right of the cannon, right next to where is shoots, and i jumped off two from the start of their flight, instead of

Hey guys, dunno if you realised - at 7:39, you can just synchronise the plants, then just pause time with R1/RT and the guys will continue to walk through. Hope this helps ;)

While this game can be charming at times, it feels incomplete and underveloped even for a $5 price tag. I would have to advise persons who do not fall head over hills in love with the demo to pass.

This is one of the handful of puzzles which tend to make this game nausiating at times.

There's a better way to do the last one. Get all the plants in sync by using the slow down time skill, i.e they all come up and down at the same rate. Then when they're all down just press shift and go + time so time is basically paused, then the flowers stay down and you can get as many monsters over them as you like : )

I tried the one at 3:45 so many times though, one of the most difficult puzzles in the game!

Actually 7:27 is one of the easiest parts of World 6. Just press shift repeadetly and two fellas should get through plants without a problem.

You know how the goombas bounce up a bit right after they hit the ground? Jump on the goomba when it's in mid-air after it has bounced from the ground and you get a power-up for the jump :)

Yeah I got it evnetually. the walkthrough part seems shows him making the jump from the top of the two ledges. you can also just run behind the goomba and time the jump. I found it alot easier this way.

if the monster is jumping when u stomp him, or the distance is long enough you will jump higher.

1. Drop ring at other cannon, saving Headguy from death; pickup ring

2. Run over and jump on Headguy before he hits the spikes and it pops you right onto the cannon.

3. From there you don't have to get back onto the cannon, just leave/reenter to cheese the ring back to ya.

its easier if you put rings under the flowers until they come up and down at the same time and then stand one minute under the flowers, so that you can warp time back without moving, so you can warp time forward and backward so that the flowers never come out :)

I managed to, but only after giving the remaining puzzles a rest a couple times over a whole week. The last one I solved was nearly by fluke, because I was flustered and kept jumping into a spike pit on purpose and then realized that that was what I was supposed to do. It's a great gaming experience to do the whole game on your own, except that immediately afterwards I learned about the 'secret stars' that managed to go TOTALLY over my head. Only the best game design can make me argh like that.

My brother and I powered through it without any walkthrough. Luck was a major contributing factor to figuring some of them out.

It most definitely took a really really long time because of the fact that you have to change your method of solving the puzzles after each world.

I had to look at this walkthrough simply because I didn't even fathom that some things were possible with the game, like stage in the last world where you have to get your shadow to suicide-pass the key to you on the other side of the spike pit. How was I supposed to know that? Or using your shadow to bump up the hedgehog so you can bounce higher? Would have taken me DAYS to try that, lol, I thought i just had to get my jump timed correctly :/

there's like a 0,5 second, when all 3 of the plants are down. If you can stop the time there, you can make as much hedgehogs past them as many as you want :)

I don't know if anybody has mentioned this, but you don't actually need the slow motion to get the key. After ages I realized you get enough height by simply jumping from the above left platform and onto the enemy. The same goes for getting up onto the cannon. You get enough bounce when you jump onto the enemy from above.

You're right about the achievements, but I think this game has some inefficiencies on the PC. For example, I can play through Crysis on max, but this game gets seemingly random framerate dips. Still 100% playable, though.

-60fps -no_post and the framerate won't go under 60fps. if you don't have steam you can still type that somewhere else.

In 6-3 I didn't slow mo the moving walls, so it was stuck... I didn't remember that I could slow them down, so I got that puzzle piece by jumping. Lots of jumping from lion to lion, you wouldn't believe what kind of jumps I made. I ended up on the top left cannon, so I jumped on a falling lion from there to get the puzzle piece. It took me 45 minutes XD

How to beat the last part !(PIPES)

1. press y at the first pipe to freeze

2.pause the time untill the pipes are gone flat gone

3.let your buddies cross the platform wait for (3)

4.press y to get out of the freeze and run your buddies jump on them and get your puzzle!

Duuuuuuudes on the 7:07 part just drop the slow ring on the plant nearest to the wall and wait until all three plants are down. Then just fast-forward and quickly press right bumper to achieve a x0 time reversal. Then the little guys can just pass over all three tubes without dying

This video is a huge help. Braid is one of the best games I have ever played but world 6 is brutal.
