It looks fantastic, clean, no graffitti on the shelters. My memory of travelling in Israel was crowded smelly buses everywhere belching out foul smoke. Didn't recognise much of Jerusalem, it's such long time since been there > MUST go back some day.

Yeah car-traffic is allowed. It's basically just a tram, like in san francisco or vienna.

Question - In the beginning I saw two men with what looked like a white rope tied all the way around their waist with the ends hanging down (not tzitzit). What is that??

If I ever get a chance to go back to Israel, I'll def go for a ride on it. Thanks for the vid! How much does it cost in American dollars (roughly)? I take the lightrail system in my area all the time. Do they offer monthly, daily, 10-day passes/tickets? For a single ride, do they charge by zones or just one rate?

wow! you managed to get space in front! Another major speedup will be when they no longer stop at every station for 2 minutes.

WE WENT LAST WEEK. IT WAS CLEAN, AIR-CONDITIONED, AND CROWDED. HOWEVER, TWO CHILDREN GOT UP TO GIVE TWO "MATURE" ADULTS SUCH AS MY HUSBAND AND I SEATS. WE REALLY ENJOYED THE RIDE!
