What happened to Tariq the coolest stage performer in many bollywood films who gave us hits like Yaadon ki Baarat & Chaand Mera Dil.God knows how did he dissapear after 70s.

@TheDangerousKidd There are others "jaanu meri jaan" from Shaan, "Rang jamake jaayenge" from Naseeb, "Naa Jaane Kaise" from Badalte Rishtey, "Hum Premi prem karna jaane" from Parvarish, are a few of many they did together.
No doubt a fantastic lyrics and music, Mukeesh gave it that eternal voice, we still enjoy it termendously. Guys plz stop telling who is the best Mohammed Rafi or Mukeesh?
They are both great artists in their field and are above such petty comparison...which you fools are trying to create!
After listening to this song I recollect my nephew singing this very song in my friends house in Jammu way back in oct 1974 when I had taken my family for a visit to Jammu and Srinagar.
This is not the actual voice of Rafi Saab for Shammi Kapoor or for Rishi Kapoor in a song like Parda hai Parda. Perhaps he was under pressure from the music director to sing in low notes as his voice is so powerful and can reach any pitch easily without strains. Injustice with Rafi was done for sure... Kishore is a great pb singer of India but incomplete w/o ghazals, qawalis, bhajans, patriotic songs etc., to credit. His voice was his magic.. Good in running numbers and sad songs only...
Coming to song part....I jess luv this song, though the concept behind the song is quite funny he he.....bt who cares, if it means we get to c n hear such great song m game for it anytime :D n both Rafi saab n Kishore Da r fabulous in this 1 !!!!
