Not necessarily in his defense, but this game is hard to play the way you would really want to...the CPU cheats

Well your right about that. It seems like every since MK2 it's impossible to play the game logically and normally because after the first 4 to 5 matches the cpu cheats in such obvious ways. Even at the first few rounds he didn't use combos and even got beat.
