Howards 1982 recession shrunk the economy by 5% The 90 bank bill at 22.8%, Inflation at 11% a budget deficit at 22.8% of GDP. The fact is Howard should have been run out of town over his involvement in the 1982 recession.

the only reason we got out of debt was because of the procedures implemented during the keating era that came into fruition once howard took over, Howard did nothing but sit on his hands and pat himself on the back at what a good job keating did that he took the credit for. The only thing howard introduced was the GST, what a great policy that was. Did howard have to deal with the GFC like rudd has had to deal with?, Howard will always be known imo as the horseshoe PM.

The other reason for Australia's resurgent economy through the Howard years was the buoyant resources sector led and demand for coal etc from China. Hardly Howard's doing.

Keating has no admirable wit because he can only seem funny when he's humiliating people. He's not clever with words - he's just a nobody who likes to hurt people.
Why is he a coward (?) - because like a typical school yard bully he runs if anyone stands up to him. After resuming the Liberal leadership Howard (who I don't like as a person) made Keating run from the Parliament in their first debate just by retaliating. Keating will not stay and fight if someone stands their ground to him.

No they aren't saying it for the hell of it, they are saying it because they are white supremacists, or to be more specific most of them are anglo supremacists. Blinded by irrational fears and hatred, convinced that problems in society can be curtailed by ending inter rational dialogue etc. My sister is married to an Indian man, I've seen comments on stormfront which would view it as a wrong act, yet I reckon he's a more decent bloke than two thirds of folk I know, irrespective of their race.

Btw It should be "Labour" but some retard wrote it down wrong. Don't believe the story it was to avoid confusion with the British Labour Party as I think Australian Labor(sic) Party (ALP) was distinguishing enough.
And Labor's economic reforms of the 80's were the result of the Campbell Report as already noted.
