and I like the fact that you can controll all the chars although this might make the game to easy because what made P3 hard sometimes was your chars would do retarded things and you'd want them to focus on a certian unit to set up an all out attack but they'd attack the almost dead unit.

I realize that this can be worked around but it was really tedious.

_____There are two easy work-around with the whole other-party-members-are-morons problem. Ever hear the saying, two's a crowd, three's company? Keep your party numbers down to three (including yourself,) and it's only two other good-guy turns before yours. Even better, for a more hard-core challenge, just have one back-up dude in case things seem crappy. You also level up faster that way. Or just give everybody else the finger and go off on your own, lone-ranger style.

The Answer was added mainly to reenforce the game's main story which isn't as realized as P4's. This is the third iteration of P3. Given that The Journey was almost completely devoid of any interesting plot elements until half way through (50 hours) it's no wonder why they added The Answer. P4 manages not only to provide closure, but fully explain itself. Unlike P3: FES where some will need to play The Answer to better understand the themes of that game.

Gameplay-wise yes. But I personally think Persona 3's story can't beat Persona 4's. Persona 4 has much more realistic characters for one thing.

I do love Persona 3's dark atmosphere though. Fits more with the SMT theme than Persona 4.
