Being a Democrat myself, I greatly appreciate a vid like this. And, I have to agree with the individual who said it is too bad that the Demos don't use something like this for advertising. It certainly would be a turn from the usual mudslinging advertisement and might even catch the Replicylons off guard.

I don't know if it's the "neocons" who were pushing the expanded government thing....that was primarily the "moderate" Republicans in the Senate (hello McCain, Hagel, Graham) a mixture in the house and a President who is seemingly unable to consider the prospect of "out of control spending" becoming a reality.

A lot of these moderates are either neo-cons in sheep's clothing, or they are too weak to stand up to the conservative ideal. Whatver the case, their plan seems to be churning right along, despite various opposition.

Dude, first off... it's a joke... and secondly, the neocons are the worst thing to happed to the Republican Party since the KKK. I *am* a conservative, and the neocon agenda of expanded government, buget-busting spending, and reckless foreign relations have separated them far from the moderate conservatives of the past.

Beautiful, and very nicely done. It's appropriately dark, and the searchlight effect is perfect.

I'd go a little softer on the beginning - maybe a second or or two of darkness at the beginning, before the first title, and with a softer fade-in. There are also a *lot* of NeoCons to choose from; it'd be more work, but maybe scarier to have twenty or thirty come up, including the behind-the-scenes thinktank types who provided the pseudo-intellectual cover for our chimpanzee in chief.
