  • Grece Indipendenc Made in Albanian Worrior...wery simpel.

  • As the up-loader of these videos I want to say this: any over-the-top bigotry will not be tolerated, Turk, Greek or otherwise. I am referring to racist comments. I WILL ban you forever. There are good Turks out there. The leader of the Coca-Cola Company is a Turkish-American and an activist for the Patriarch and his freedom. In fact he used his position to help bring awareness to the problems of our Church in Constantinople. Note: denying the Greek or Armenian genocide WILL get you banned.

  • @MrTurkche

Greeks are , well at least they have been in the past of history as the most noble race in the world. They are the spiritual fathers of the European civilization as its known today in most of its form. It would be stupid to deny that the fathers of Europe were not Europeans. You Turks should not speak about our race since you have been a bloodthirsty Asian nomadic race from the central Asia. Remember where you came from and how you came in the Asia minor the eastern Greece .

  • @Athlon2010 hell yeah!

    You tell em!

  • Look at any official demografic data/source from the last decade:Today's Greek population= 95% Greeks and a mere 5% Albanians and other emigrants...Now,look at Albania= 90% Albanians, 10% Greeks and other minorities...these are the plain facts, not fancyful theories or fairytales...

  • @TR215...There is still a significant Greek minority in south Albania (North Epirus). These people are descended from indigenous Greeks who lived there since antiquity (most of the toponyms in the area have Greek origins).Your ancestors the Illyrians lived far to the north. The southward limit of Illyrian expansion was roughly today's Berat. Anything south of there was originally Greek (see any historical/archaeological map if you have doubts)

  • @steveharrismetalgod uhm....the albanians are not illyrians.if you see any ancient map of caucasus youll see a city named albania.thats where they descend from.not sure when they migrated to balkans, but they are mentioned from ptolemy at 150ac as a tribe inhabiting illyria.

  • @TR215 Greeks inhabited Asia Minor much before any Turks appeared in the region. Most of today's coastal Turkish cities/towns/villages etc. were originally Greek colonies inhabited continuously by indigenous Greek populations since ancient times.Several of them still bear modified versions of Greek names (Istanbul=Constantinople, Izmir=Smyrni, Efes=Efesos,Milet=Militos, Bergama=Pergamos, Bodrum=Alikarnasos, Trabzon=Trapezounta etc...)

  • @TR215...interesting story.Only, it isn't true. 1-1,5 million Greek refugees came to mainland Greece from Anatolia (Asia Minor) during the population exchange after the 1919-22 Greco-Turkish war.The population in Greece then was already 6-7 million and today is more than 11 million. So, anatolian Greeks are only a minority of the total Greek population...And I don't see why you comment on Greeks from asia minor like they are something different-they are 100% Greeks exactly like the rest of us.

  • @steveharrismetalgod Greeks make up many different tribes, since ancient times. This is why we vary in look. The population exchange happened in 1923 (sanctioned ethnic cleansing ). During the Greco-Turkish War of 1919-1923, there were 6.6 million Turks and 5.5 million Greeks. Now there are 90 million Turks and only 16 million Greeks world wide. It's not hard to see, just from modern population numbers, how devastating it was for Hellenic civilization to lose that war....

  • Kolokotronis, Androutsos, Tzavellas, Karaiskakis, Miaoulis, Bubulina and many other leaders of the greek revolution are arvanites. They may be of old albanian origin but with greek consciousness and they fought for the freedom of the lands where they lived, which is Greece.

  • reality...yeah,like in:''virtual reality'' hug?...or simply:''propaganda''...Kolokotronis and Bubulina Albanians???LOL! who's next?Achilles,Homer,Plato,Aristotle,Pythagoras,Pericles,Hippocrates, Leonidas,Alexander the Great...all of them Albos too, right?ROFLMAO!Only you must come to an agreement with the skopjeans and turks first, because all of you are claiming the same Greek heroes as your own at the same time,hahahahaha!...that's why nobody takes people like you seriously...

  • @IllyrianLion You Albanians really believe this notion that many Greeks are ethnic Albanians. It's almost part of Albanian culture to believe this. It's rooted in the fact that a tiny number (overall ) of Greeks spoke a dialect that was rooted in the Albanian tongue (a legacy of Ottoman times). No a single person you claim was Albanian ever agreed. Too many holes in this loony theory. Doesn't make ANY logical sense. No one believes this but chauvinistic Albanians anyway. Silly kids.

  • for 4 years Greeks had only victories and managed to throw turks out of Peloponness, Aegean sea, Rumeli and Epirus. Kolokotronis, Diakos, Androutsos, Tzavellas Papaflessas, Karaiskakis, Miaoulis, Kanaris, Nikitaras, Ypsilantis, Makrigiannis, Mpotsares, Mavromichalis, Panourgias, Petimezas, Metaxas, Zaimis, Plapoutas, Sahtouris were some of the leaders of the war against the turkish oppression. As the revolution in Greece intensified,

  • The Turks were unable to stop the revolution and so the Sultan of Turkey asked Muhammad Ali, the Pasha of Egypt for help. Egyptian army successfully invaded the Peloponnesus in 1825.

In 1827 a treaty was signed in London in which all warfares should stop. So European powers (Russia, France, England) sent their naval fleets to Navarino Bay on October of 1827, There accidentally broke a naval battle and the united Turkish, Egyptian and Tenesian fleet in a few hours, was destroyed

  • The Greek Revolutionaries captured and liberated the city of Kalamata first on March 25, 1821. Learn more at: platos-academyDOTcom - A blog about everything Greek.

  • The Turkish savageness in the modern battlefields (Cyprus, Kurdistan) took place against non-combatants regardless of age or sex, which along with prisoners were slaughtered without distinctions. On the other side, wherever there is an organized and strong resistance, the Turkish progress is not existing and their defeat seems certain.

  • 23.9.1821 siege of tripolis

A fierce battle developed from street to street, house to house. Many houses were thus burned and a merciless slaughter ensued of both armed and unarmed Turks. Kolokotronis managed to save the few remaining Albanians from his troops - as was his agreement with Ahmed Bey - but little else.

This victory was of great significance to the Greek cause as it eliminated the greatest Turkish resistance in Peloponnesus and left the revolutionaries able to consolidate

  • The Treaty of Kuchuk-Kainarji (1774) gave Russia the right to make "representations" to the Sultan in defense of his Orthodox subjects, and the Russians began to interfere regularly in the internal affairs of the Ottoman Empire. This, combined with the new ideas let loose by the French Revolution of 1789, began to reconnect the Greeks with the outside world and led to the development of an active nationalist movement.

  • dont criticise us turks, we are your masters, u r lucky we screwed up at vienna 2 times, or most europe would be turkish. kneel b 4 us, we will retake south east europe n more.

  • @sinmulti

I think Vlad Teppish had something to say about that...remember him? Vlad the Impaler?

He kicked turk ass as well as my great great great great grandfather, Theodoros Kolokotronis!

  • The European Union is imposing its will on the Free People of Greece. For years the EU has been funding the student protests advocating the abolishment of the Republic and the establishment of a Greek Socialist State. This will only lead to despotism and tyranny. To ALL Greeks, Your Great Revolution inspired the Forefathers of the US to lead us into freedom, so Thank You. However, be prepared to fight for your freedom once again. XP!

  • greetings from greece!!! see my videos...

  • Fuckin' barbarian Turks!

    Greetings to Greece from Bulgaria!

  • God bless greece and his friends, let us never become part of the turkish devils nor any other foul best.

  • How lovely it is to observe such a love-wishing, intelligent and non-hateful comment as our good friend TURKISTANWolve below me, a true 'honorable' Turk, and follower of the 'religion of peace'.

  • Excellent video!

  • Romanian empire was the official name of the Bizantine empire , we just borrowed it from you.

  • You mean Roman empire? Because Romanians are north east. Romans were near us

  • No. Roman empire was before Bizantine empire. Bizantium name was given after the empire was conquered by Ottomans. In the Middle ages Bizantine empire was known as ROMANIAN empire . The people called themselvs Romanoi.

  • No I insist. It was not "Romanian" , it was "Roman" that sometimes reffered as Romanians but i doubt if there is any connection (at least cultural) between Roman(later on, Byzantine) and Romania.

  • You are partialy wright ;that it was no conection between Bizantium and Romanians in the North. Roamnians in the north were under bulgarian-vlach empire but the kings were romanians. It is just a coincidence by translating into english.

  • The revolution was planed in Russia and started in Romania at the end of 1820 , beggining of 1821. We called them Eteria.Greecks(Eteria) ,Romanians and Albanian christian mercenaries (arnauts) fought together against ottomans and burned northern bulgarian cities controled by Ottomans.

  • @nikoz78

We were all Orthodox Christians....of COURSE they would help greeks fight turks!

  • @nikoz78 I agree with you only in half. Russians are our orthodox brotheres but russian leaders are evil . I hope that russia will break up becouse russian empire is an evil one.

  • @nikoz78 i Think Ypsilantis planned the revolution in Romania

  • It exists, it is called Moscow.

  • @ioanpena Planet in rumania, and fightet from albanians. ;)

  • @ioanpena And I thank you, brother, I too did not know. Let us reject the false European Union that wishes to turn us against Russia our natural brothers and strive for a new Orthodox Union that will cherish and protect our beautiful cultures, languages, and of course, our Holy Orthodox Faith.

  • @ioanpena write more bullshit please

  • mister says a lot of : hummms
