Well you can still download a finished drift tuning setup and buy yourself a steering wheel, which helps a lot. I make some progress, but still far from those skills.

Well, It isn't. I was the Same for Forza 2. Big Drifter. It's Exactly the same, you just have to get used to the clutch.
