@nenalyzed I realized that my two last videos are quite serious and non-funny. Even tho that's not my dominating theme throughout my videos, I do enjoy being a bit more "real" at times.

I feel bad that I never heard about that happening, but I was very young and in the U.S so I can see why I don't remember. It's horrible when things like this happen. Whole countrys are effected in different ways by different events, I guess the best thing we can do is just to learn something in some way from what happened and never forget what happened. Thank you for uploading this video, you have atleast educated one person about what happened.
i remember this, i remenber just the moment when i heard she had been stabbed and i remember the horried news of her that. coming from a socialist family it was something big. i remember going to the local office of the socialistparty the same day of the news of her death to sign the the condolence book. i remember my grandmother crying, i just hate this date. In Chile they call it the black week. love your video
This was really powerful Martin. I do remember it, but of course the way things are reported here, it's hard to really understand the perspective of a nation as its people experience it. Thanks for sharing.
Wow, this really takes me back. I remember that so well, and I was barely 10 years old. This was a very touching video, don't ever stop making these personal ones. This is what I am on Youtube for, sharing experiences and opinions with one and other.
@rumpedask I fully agree with you. While youtube can be a place for mindless entertainment (my videos included) it should also be a place for emotional and intellectual sharing.
@steamedguy I agree, there's a time for remembering and learn from it to carry on the good work. Stories like this shakes us out of our pattern, which sometimes despite the horror of the event can be a positive thing.

Now after mourning lets pick ourselves up and lets try and make a difference like these people were doing, by being the best we can and helping others!
I remember when this happened tough I didn't remember it was this date. It probably isn't surprising that here in Finland it affected many people. Me too. It wasn't our country or our foreign minister, but we have such a strong and close connection with Sweden that anything like this happening to you is always big thing to us too. I cried for her.
This is more tragic to me now than it was in 2003. 13 years old, I didn't care much about politics, and I didn't know who Anna Lindh was. Death is always tragic, of course - but even more so now when I've grown a little, I've gotten to know her better than I did back then, and I'm overall in a state where I really care.
@Holtza thank you. this video has been in my mind for months now and there was plenty of "ryckningar i ansiktet" when I edited it. I know that I'm using copyright material, something I truly try no to but I felt this story, in the flood of 2001 clips needed some attention for people outside of Sweden.
Anna lindh was one of the best politicians of our time. And im not even a socialdemocrat.
