i remember watching this on TV and seeing him on the sidewalk and screaming to the TV SOMEONE GET HIM OFF THE SIDE WALK!! i just wanted to reach though the TV pick him up and ran to somewhere safe Daniel did not deserve to die in front of the world the way he did.. rest in peace Daniel you are sadly missed by all

@that905kid I made the video almost 3 years ago. It was the first time I ever used Windows movie maker and was not an expert on which font was best. When I look at it now there are many things I wish I could change and dont blame you one bit for your criticism because I agree. But, thats how I made it so Im just going to leave it.

When I read the part about his mother washing clothes, and finding his socks and shirt, I started tearing up :(
As Im typing this, a tear is running down my cheek.
I never got to meet Daniel, as I am only 16 and was just 5 when this happened, it is still just as sad.

From the descriptions in this lovely tribute, I imagine that he would have been a great success in whatever he chose to do in life. He appears to have been an awesome person. The photo of Danny at 2:03 is from a video filmed at Columbine in Aug. 1998, eight months prior to the massacre. He is wearing the green shirt he later wore on that terrible day in April 1999. A curiosity, naivete, and youthful innocence led to his death on Tuesday, 20 April 1999 when he and his friends walked straight into the gunmen, believing that they were engaged in a senior prank with paint ball guns. Thank you for the video. The public has somehow had more of a connection with Danny because of the famous picture and never knew it, but it's important to remember him as a person. Peace with his families and the families of all the other who passed away here on the tenth anniversary of the tragedy.

These are people who will always hold a special place in my heart and my mind! People who are reminders on how teenage violence is just as poiniant today, even 10 years after such a tradgedy! May God bless all the victims families and all those who suffer from violence this Monday (on the 10th anniversary of the Columbine tradgedy)and for evermore!

Thank you for this beautiful video. I worked with Danny's Mother. I was just blocks away from the school that day watching everything unfold out of my office window. I was at Danny's funeral, and my heart still breaks this time every year. Standing at that cemetary watching Danny's Mom Sue say goodbye to him was one of the saddest moments of my life. This was a fitting tribute to a great kid. A life that was taken way too soon for such unforgivable reasons. Thank you may we never forget 4-20-99

It is impossible for Danny to have bullied Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold, much less even known them. Danny was in his freshman year at Columbine, while the killers were in their senior years. Besides, I believe this boy was everything good and would certainly NOT have anything to do with two total losers, who as it turned out were little more than cold-blooded, vicious killers.
