I trained with Javier back at his first school in 96 it was the best thing that could ve ever happend to me. Then i got lock up and did 3 and half years in cya and never was able to leave the gang life. fast money new cars i lost it all but i still got them aka stills in my heart 4 life. For any single parent not knowing how to handle a kid with issues of the world, teach and educate him/her with knowledge and build new positive surroundings for real growth.

Hey does anybody know how far away aka of san jose is from san jose state university

@fraige2010 - its about 10 miles or so. Easiest way to get there is to take 4th street all the way down to the 280 on ramp. Then take the hwy 87/Guadalupe exit south towards gilroy. Go about 4-5 miles and take the Capital Expy exit. At the bottom of the exit turn right (west). Go down capital expy (which automatically turns into Hilldale Ave) all the way to Ross Ave. Just as you pass Ross Ave, the gym is in the shopping center on your left.

@badsssssss They should call this place the American wrestling academy. The only mma fighters they've produced who were any good were wrestlers. I don't know if they've ever produced any good strikers for mma.

@prooc well if u know anythin u would know it was a KB school in the 80's and it turned into an mma school and they dint produce wrestlers Div. 1 champions came to this skool and learned to strike and there good at it Kos Cain gets better n better n from wat i recall Fitch just recently outboxed the supposed muay thai specialist in his last fight.

@badsssssss he didnt say aka produced amazing wrestlers, he said the only good mma fighters that came out of aka were originally wrestlers, majority of them, and fitch didnt outbox alves.. he did more or less the same, took him down repeatedly and grinded him for 3 rounds.

I bet it cost about 3X more than it should to train there just because of Fitch, Kos, Rumble, etc. I'd go train @ Cesar Gracies joint before AKA.
