  • Mind bottling.

  • Amazing stuff! Good work :-)

  • Great video! Nice vid effecs and great music. Feelin ya kid!

  • Feeling like watching the movie! Remember some scenes... Great!

  • Beautiful.

You are using the Micron correctly IMO.

Many other postings are house trance pop garbage.

You sound like you're along the lines of Wright, Wakeman, Glass, Eno and Vangelis.

    Good Job.

I'm buying one to compliment my guitar work.

    Good Job

  • @pithor I don't think there is a wrong way to use the Micron, or any synth for that matter. It's all a matter of personal taste. That said, this is one of the better YT Micron performances out there.

  • This sounds like Vangelis

  • Thinking about getting one of those. The choice is either that or an mpc 500, lol. But i'm definitelly deep in love with this beauty. I see whole albums in that beast, ready to be recorded, just waiting. Now i just need to convince myself I don't need mpc that much xD

  • outstanding

  • Very Beautiful!

  • Did you actually used only micron to create that? :)

  • SUPER!

  • that is some seriously good programming. very well done.

  • anybody know the patch settings? it's a bit more complex than he lets on

  • love it

  • it's good, but that "lens flare" isn't helping at all...

  • great sound. Its always hard finding nice micron vids

  • Cool, nice sounds

  • very good, it shows you don't need lots of expensive equipment. You just need talent and perseverance :-) . I Subscribed mate !

  • Great solo and vibe....love how much you get out of it. I have a micron too. I really love the sound but it's a tough thing to program...Very impressed with your creative use of the instrument. Sometimes working with only one keyboard triggers completly new ideas:)

  • I'd love to know the parameters for that brass sound, but I figure you'd rather not give it out. Perhaps just some hints?

  • Why not? Well its 2 saw and one very narrow pulse passing through one JP lowpass filter and one Comb 4 filter. I think you can figure out for the amp envelope, the filter evelope doesnt really matter. A lot of reverb, and key sensitivity to make it expressive.

  • You know what, I had you confused with Gtechture, he's the one who doesn't like giving out parameters. As for the reverb, I actually have an ion, so no luck there. I am planing on grabbing a nanoverb for that sometime soon. Thanks, I'll get on that, looks to be a good deal of fun. :)

  • this helped loads

  • @hdebbache2000 Thanx :)

  • Awesome man, hope to purchase one of those soon.

  • Absolutely brilliant ! Amazing sound from that little synth and great improv:)

  • Very nice . . . is the setup a preset, if so what is it?

Is is If not, very nice work. . . very nice feel. Van

  • No it isnt, but the sounds are not very complicated to make (well maybe the piano one is lol)

  • is there like a handbook a noob can buy that shows the parametres for making different types of patches?

  • Yes there is... but they are "sold", and frankly its better to understand the concepts than to use recipes.

  • Sounds great. Is that the Micron's own reverb or is it externally applied?

  • No its all Micron. It has a great sounding reverb. But the delay is so-so in my opinion

  • micron for the vangelis win!!!

  • also your jazz scales are pretty good! keep it up

  • Really great sound, keep it up. Nice programming.

  • I push my micron again in the middle of my synths;)

  • cool ;)

  • Superb.

  • Simply amazing. What made you chose the Micron? I'm looking at buying my first synth and I'm tossing up between the Micron and the Korg Microkorg XL

  • The Micron is simply more powerful: 3 oscillators, tens of filter types including comb and formant, capacity to split the keyboard (the first MK didnt have it), a drum machine, plenty of effects, plenty of drive types, bigger and sturdier keys, an arpeggiator AND a sequencer. BTW I had a Microkorg before, which I sold. I loved it but it was too limited

  • Not to mention price! Micron cost WAY less than the microKorg.

  • wow that was amazing, thanks so much for sharing.

  • Thats really beautiful!Really like the video as well as the music.

I own an Alesis ION synth.Great work!
