  • awesome!!!

  • Seen the video of them flying in over the Church picnic? stuff flying everywhere, people hanging on to trees...priceless.

  • OMFG it's huge!! =D

  • Lived near Jacksonville, NC where these things would fly over my horse farm. They make a sound so different from anything else. They would make the windows rattle when they flew overhead. Go USMC!

  • I just can't get enough of watching these beauties in flight. Gotta love American Aero technology at work..

  • ya gotta love fam flights...

  • this video totally suxx

cuz there is nothin in it

  • Because the rotors are connected via a cross shaft you would have to have dual engine failure to have a problem. Fortunately the chances of that happening are very remote because, like any rotor craft with high disk loading, a tilt rotor doesn't auto rotate very well. I would think that if it's altitude were high enough, the pilot could pitch the nose down and glide like any other fixed wing aircraft.

  • Can the Osprey glide when there is an engine failure and the rotors are at the vertical position ?

  • The program will NOT be canceled.

  • Build as many as you can before Congress cancels it.
