Dougo- you need some clarification. "Our Father" does refer to God. Every religion has some higher entity at its core- thus "God" IS the same in everyone's eyes. Whether or not you believe that Jesus was his messenger son is irrelevant for this song as he is not mentioned. As a christian I am not offended in the least by the use of her tremendous gift in a song, that while traditionally Christian, really pays homage to ALL religions in it's celebration of a higher power.
