  • Can anyone tell me what single coil pickup he's using? Is it a dimarzio? Sounds beautiful!!

  • Dobar. Bon. Good. Bueno. Harashov.

  • Looks like, than Jerry Russo from Wizards Of Wewearly Place :D But song's good :)

  • hey minds eye etc......As a guitar player i used to play his riffs to my pupils....so cool,,,,fast as fuck

  • Vinnie still rips!!

  • shit ...I'm in love !

  • Change your hairstyle dude. Dun be a copy of Malmsteem. I like your more than him

  • @hypersm0th uh??!

  • @hypersm0th hate to break it to ya, but Malmsteen is/was clearly Vm's greatest influence. In the early day around Minds Eye, it was so obvious, as he was cloning heaps of Yngwies riffs.

  • @wxyzxdll So what. So was Paul Gilbert. And they both write songs better. And this is coming from a long time Malmsteen fan (but fan of those two)

    Malmsteen's weakness is his ego

  • @Devilbat74 his weakness is his ego? How ? Another stupid comment from you. His ego is probably what drives him...and makes him so great

  • @wxyzxdll when malmsteen was young people wouldn't work with him cause of his ego.

  • @hypersm0th O_O ? This is great guitarist Vinnie Moore playing one of his own songs, and you tell someone to change his haircut ?

  • @hypersm0th it's not vinnie moore himself bastard, it's just a video, not his channel, stupid

  • We all know that vinnie is from the future and travelled back in time to give us some good music to contend with the bad music nowadays.

  • nossa harmonia perfeita instrumental show, esse som mexe bastante com a nossa vontade de sempre fazer um som melhor e melhorar a cada dia, excelente musica Parabéns !!!

  • a wow, Vinnie technique...

  • satriani is nothing with this man

  • @Luciferdjin777

Satriani and Vinnie Moore are two completely different styles.

Saying Satriani is nothing compared to him is just a retarded comment IMO.

They are both exceptional guitar players.

  • woooww que buen sonido!!! que buen feeling que buen control melodico definitivamente master!!!

  • Great guitarplayer ! One of the big masters !

  • VMs become so much more bluesy and vibey than in his strictly shredder 80z dayz...great chops and melodic as always though!! \M/

  • Un verdadero Master!

  • Cant't stop my head nodding and making weird faces. Its too good.

  • should be easy to recognize masterpieces when a player like that steps on stage

  • ele é o meeeeeestre

  • it sounds good!!!!!!!!!!!1

  • 2:48 - AMAZING arpeggio... i cant stop listening this part.

  • legendary vibratos

  • eetsi!!! pantou enas ellinas! ha ha

  • 'lick library'? this aint no library!

  • perfect!

  • Sounds very different to the 80tys. He was in the 80tys the god and he´s still god!

  • These are the guys who busted their ass perfected their craft that we should hear on the radio on the way to work in the morning , not spoiled ass Disney children. Keep rocking. it will get better

  • flawless

  • anyone one knows if his guitar is the same model as david gilmour's guitar ? they really look alike

    awesome playing !

  • @rafaelb1026 I can definitely see why you'd think that, with both having the same body styles, body colors and fretboard material. However, there are a few differences in the features, Vinnies Dean has a Floyd Rose tremolo bridge, which is a floating system whereas Daves Fender has a more vintage style tremolo bridge. Vinnie also has a humbucker in the bridge position, I think Dave has a single coil. Vinnies guitar is available to purchase from a Dean Guitars dealer if you're interested. :)

  • @Sjusovaren yeah they really do look alike and i noticed the floyd rose and yeah u also think it single coil :) would love Dave's guitar always dreamt with it

  • certainly one of the best guitarists in the world and my favorite. He has everything: technique, touch, great compositional skills. He 's great! As we say in Italy: to the cazz and beyond!

  • @enos218 cause the pentatonic to major change sounds good artard..its how he wrote the song originally.

  • If I was Vinnie Moore, even your mother won't be able to resist me......

  • Ya! Happy birthday Vinnie!

  • realy cool dude.

  • todo un maestre

  • 7 Talentless tossers who don't know the difference between their arse and their elbow. This is fantastic !

  • @MrJuno6 as if we give a toss of your buggering... You'd be playing for coppers in the tube without me. you wanka.. go blow a fag.. and sit in your flat before i sick the constable on you.

  • in my eyes, no body is a greater neo-classical player than Vinnie Moore

  • @4088TR agree...

  • Love, love, love it!

  • 2:50

    What the Fuck hahah tightt

  • this pickup on the neck is a humbucker in single coil format. it´s a seymour duncan, cool rail problably, noiseless.

  • 2:30 is so jeff beck right there

  • EARGASM

  • hes so fuckin good its sickining...:o)

  • I swear it sounded like he was soloing over Little Wing in the middle of the song.

  • So much expression in every note. Vinnie plays plenty deep !!

  • this owns so much

  • Vinnie has one of the nicest tones out there imo

  • @wickerman12345

that tone sounds even not realistic perfect and its abouth the playing too

  • Someone knows if these Vinnie Moore performances are on a dvd?

  • 2:50 Amazing maj7 lick!

  • Like a single coil in the neck.. I myself have used the neck pickup for lead work, it sounds like this with Vinnie, ..the bridge pickup is good for heavy rythm but sounds too edgy for fast lead like fast trasitions, hammers, pull offs.. ..Yeah, neck pickup position rules for lead.

  • does anyone have any idea how his volume knob is so responsive? i know he is using very little gain but still.. how can he swell the notes like that! 2:18

  • @TanvirKaykobad its probably due to compression.causing a stready streamline signal thruout.

  • Is that type of pickups (the one near the neck) good? what is the dif from humbuckers and single coils. Forgive my ignorance

  • @0Yker0 Depending on where the pickups are, they have different sounds (timber). Neck pickups usually have smoother timbre while bridge pickups have more timbre for rhythm. Humbuckers have more output, and combine two different timbres because they pickup signals from different places. That neck pickup does the same thing, but it's made to fit in a single pickup's space. Basically, it has more power, and different tone. Look up Andy Timmons, he uses a lot of those.

  • i dont think bigbigsound has used a marshall. cos line 6 are quite naff. cant beat marshall

  • what a fucking snorefest, whwere the fucks all teh shredding gones?

    pretty ghay man.

  • @bigbigsound Why the hell do you type like a moron? If you want shred, go watch some studioforce.

  • @GibsonGuitarist666 i type liek a moron cos imma retraded.

Who are this "studioforce" you speak of? do they play line6 amps because they are the best? LINE6 RULES MAN!

  • @bigbigsound ALSO GIBSONS SUCK BALLS MAN.

  • @bigbigsound Please go into my channel and check my 3 covers and you can tell me how much they suck... Also its not only about gear.. paul gilbert could rip it up on a squier and you wouldnt tell the difference

  • @joselito1969 thanks happy day yes good times live long and prosper bro ive seen teh lights in my eyes hallelujah!!11

  • @bigbigsoun

rofl that's the most obvious trolling i have ever seen.

  • @bigbigsound lets see you play that? Any seasoned guitarist knows that real guitar skill lies in the dynamics and the phrasing....

  • @MasterShredder86 i'm disappointed by the dynamics and phrasing of your reply, any seasoned guitarist would know that has anyone ever been as far as to go want to go before look like? yeah thats what i thought too,so i dont consider my opinion changed even remotely.Although Vinnie did used to do a mean Yngwie impersonation way back in the 1980's.What do you think?

  • This version of the song makes me cry a almost each time I listen, fucking Vinnie!!!

  • I can't even attempt to explain with words how amazing this is. It's ridiculous. Holy fuck.

  • fuck you 5 plp go listen to lady gaga pussies

  • I like his tone a lot more when he was with Ibanez

  • Any tabs up for this one?

  • I love this song

  • brilliant

  • sana puanım 9 kanka

  • Strange how he has gone back to blues type stuff?Maybe he is reminding us all about the roots/evolution of modern guitar?

  • Vinnie could keep a song catchy and alive for so long that the universe could implode... Twice!

  • a teeny bit of delay would have been great

  • Talk about a dry signal.

  • Great player - I always liked the fact that he uses a ton of downstrokes for some reason.

  • Little wing jimi hendrex- nice cover vinnie

  • You´re great, Vinnie! Tank You.

  • He was mush better younger....

  • @ExtremelySoundful ah they all lose something when they get older, most of them pick up new style like his hybrid picking, plus his tone has changed alot. i think they just mature as players, like i remember how my tone sounded 8years ago. i'm not so much of a picker any more but i have definitley improved my game

  • Badass!!!!!!!!!!

  • @CasketSealer yep

  • Fuck! You know, recently I've gotten lazy with my practicing but whenever I watch this guy I get an urge to play like crazy. He´s my favorite guitarrist, the Vinman

  • i like stuff like that, there should be more songs without vocals, this confirms that you are a good musician

  • taste, dynamics, feeling..... mmmm niiice :D

  • as a very big fan of alexi laiho, i can say here that speed and fast sweeps isnt everything, this guy is awesome, he's playing slower, and still is at level of alexi

  • @thePawn360 alexi? pfff jesus what a joke, u compare that clown to vinnie moore heh

  • @Eruption89 a clown which can sweep like an devil

  • @thePawn360

Michael Angelo Batio sweeps way better than alexi

  • @guillotinedeath read my comment 8 more times, maybe u'll get it ;)

  • @guillotinedeath

I bet most pro players would say Frank Gambale is the king of sweeping.

  • @EgoShredder

I AGREE that guy is a beast

  • Holy Shit! Great bluesy string bending.

  • me two...

  • Yes, this guy is WAY too underrated as a guitarist.

I've known him for years, he's just too awesome & even if I've gotten better myself, he still awes me as much as day 1.

  • That's better. well told this music story, nice solo frasing. Greetings, Joao

  • 2:58-3:00 .. he is soo into it that even his tongue is totally rolled in.. i'm sorry i dont know why i saw that :D ... awesome vid of an excellent musician..

  • One of the pure, amazing talents. Can't get enough.

  • Very true! One of the most under appreciated players of all time.

  • @vtwinrocker People are just ignorant ;)

  • saw him here in vienna last week...... I´m not sure if more than 30 people came to see him. what a shame....... but the gig was great.

  • what hes so amazing why 30 people , as you said , shame

  • @Neidhardt84

I hate it when it happens, usually I'm one of the people who miss events like this not because I don't appreciate the talent but because this events are not well promoted so only a lucky few actually know when things are going on.

  • Awesome!

  • I am going to see him in about an hour in thessaloniki....oh yeahh!!!

  • 8ball club e???

pfff ! egw den mporwesa :(((

    exasa POLLA!

  • next comment catches malaria

  • I took my anti malarial tablets...

  • @lauriemonk ha ha ha ha ha ...that was a good one... you have a great humor sense :-D

  • I Am The Greatest Guitarist Ever Hands Down...LMAO:)

  • Awesome!

  • @baybass yanlışın var 12 şubatta geliyor ankaraya 11 şubatta istanbul

  • he comin to ankara/turkey in 2/7/10

  • It must be in the genes.

  • What a talented guitarist ... It gave me goosebumps

  • What a prick! vinnie moore is a man that is not just content being one of the better shredders in the world, but he then has to go and play blues that puts some of the best to shame! (sarcasm guys chill) vinman, spare us mortal fools your guitar wrath, we only wish to live in your shadow...

  • hahahah true!!

  • Vinnie is a really humble guy as well as an awesome player & teacher. Met Vinnie a couple years back at the Namm show and then caught his show at the Galaxy Theatre in Santa Ana, California where he performed a killer set. Great person.

  • MAB wins in a shredoff but VM has so much more feel... still two of my favorites.. still two awesome Dean Artists.

  • @astrosaki MAB wins? chuckles

  • @astrosaki (Not targeting you, im just speakin' my mind)

I would just be glad that we have them both, because how much would it suck if we could only listen to MAB because hes "the best". It would suck quite a bit.

I never understand these people that only listen to "the best" guitarist, and they condemn all others and refuse to listen to all others because its beneath them to do so, when they probably never even touched a guitar, apart from guitar hero.

  • Haha definitely.

  • Oooops, a typo: I meant 'One-Trick Pony.' My bad!

  • Wow! This tune is quite different from "Meltdown, " the contrast between the music genere is striking -- obviously Mr. VM is no 'Ont-Trick Pony' act. I haven't heard heartfelt blues licks this well played since SuperSession's Mike Bloomfield. Go Vinnie! A heap a thanks for sharing and posting this.

  • woooooooooooooooooooooooooooow

  • Vinman The Man !

  • This song, I just cant get it out of my head...Vinnie...shreding, great phrases, emotions, catchy melody, nice harmony...basicly everything.

  • everybody....shredding acconuts for abt 25 % ....there are a lot of other beautiful thing one can do in guitar!!!! and vinnie moore composes at a very high level !!!! using knowledge is the thing not how much u can shred....and vinnie moore has mastered it at a very satisfying level !!

  • Comment removed

  • thats what i love about him compared to lets say, malmsteen.....they can both shred their asses off...but then malmsteen continues to only shred his ass off

  • @TheJOEsat93 : this is very true.

  • @TheJOEsat93 Can someone translate this into English?

  • amazing song

  • Yeah I can see that he is not really letting all of his tricks out of the bag here. But still it`s good for what it is and has a few cool shred moments thrown in. Also it shows a slightly different side to Vinnie. More bluesy/Hendrix etc.

His phrasing and expression is, as always world class! We should all just enjoy this tune and not worry how it compares to his other stuff. too much comparing can make you loose the beauty of what is right in front of you!

    Vinnie rules!!!

  • he has lost his particular "arm" pick ... maybe he noticed moving just the wrist prevents tendinits, and with practice wrist motion it's faster than the arm ... btw great vinnie :D

  • well there's more to guitar than shred.. sum times you gotta take a step back and put your emotions and feelings into the music so other people feel you and understand it more

  • this song has plenty of emotion in it:)

  • my No. 1 guitar hero!!!

  • He is very good, but i would prefer it if he played shred metal again.

  • Damn.

  • Epic masterpiece is epic, also a masterpiece.

  • fly little wing!! ahah sounds like jimmi

  • Think the reason vinnie sounds off in this video is cause hes playing in standard , also not nearly enough reverb normally he keeps his deans in Eb. Still hes my favorit guitarist , love his new album especially panic attacks jazz phrasing in the outro love it . |:)

  • grande Vinnie

  • A WIZARDS!

  • Comment removed

  • Probably the best guitar player of all time. His phrasing is simply unmatched.

  • Wat guitar is dat???

  • it´a DEAN guitar vinnie moore´s signature

  • Certainly looks like one, but doesn't have the M marker at the 12th fret...?

  • 2:50 - 2:54 how much awssome amd jazzy is that lick? man this rocked me!

  • fantastic song! love the phrasing!
