i feel for you..they are horrible...just last week i rushed to the emergency room, called my husband to come and meet me there, he was at work...because i was sure this was it..i was dieing of a heart attack...the doctors and nurses were so sweet to me...they ran ekg, blood pressure, blood work...and assured me i was ok...keep braving them hon..i really wish you the best...

this video made me cry;( i started having panic attacks when i was 17 it was so scarey and it caused me Depression:( i suffered
from Depression for two years and learned how to control my panic attacks by ignoring them which was so hard <\3 ..yesterday i was with my husband and kids in the car and out of no where i had a panic attack i stopped for i minute and said to my self oh god not again,,its a terrible feeling thanks for sharing your experience your not alone <3
You por girl, Ive had some very severe ones myself where by legs, arms and jaw all locked up. Ive had all the same symptoms your vid has shown. You cant focus on it , if you do it will feed it and get worse. Control your breathing ffrom the very start and realize you have had panic attacks before and made it through, you will make it through again.
I had Panic Attacks for 4 years and finally they have stopped. The first thing do do is make sure you mouth is west, you cannot have a panic attack. Notice your mouth is always bone dry when you have an attack. Secondly you wernt breathing anywhere near enough in this, this can play a huge role. Thirdly remember it's YOUR BRAIN that's starting these panic attacks. If you're scared of them they will get you, wheras if you think fuck it come at me im not scared they wont come
I totally know what you're going through. I have PTSD and have panic attacks all the time. Mine are rather extreme and every time I feel like i'm dying. I wish the best for you and your situation i know how rough it all can be. Just try to keep your head up.
You are brave. I suffer from them time to time. It's PTSD from my deployment. I hate feeling like I'm going to pass out, thats the worst symptom in my opinion. You aren't alone
I will be honest I'm 21 yrs old I'm a male u hung in there very brave I had panic disorder for a yr now........ Best thing to do is drink at least 6 glasses water a day that helps I think I've got over the panics I just get moods an the pain part I still get attacks I know how it is so be an stay in there
@YingYang2223 i have very bad panic attacks and i hate that feeling when i see like the room closing in on me or like you said moving to the left..that happens to me also yes:( it sucks
@AmandaMorphine Totally worth it, ive been dealing with panic attacks only for about a month or so and it feels like an eternity, its good to see that im not the only one, for a while there I thought i was broken or I was going nuts.
@AmandaMorphine its worth a whole lot more. i do all the things you do. my heart races and i feel like im choking. mine are triggered by eating. feeling full causes mine for some reason. i also get them in the shower. another thing is that ive began to get them in public places. all started from smoking weed when i was 16. havent been right ever since.

I have anxiety so I know what you're going through. But isn't it kind of funny all the crazy shit we do then were having anxiety attack... Like night I had a severe anxiety attack the next minute I was outside in my underwear in 20° weather poring ice cold water over my head to calm myself down. But it worked for me. Keep fight girl your doing good
Whattt ! This is just like mine but for me I worry to much about my breathing... But I get them alot when I get sinus infections. It's horrible :( But I've found out eating a lot of fruits helps such at strawberries, acai berries, peaches, bannanas. And a lot more :) Remember it's just mental. I've had them for year now and still do but not as worse. Hang in there peeps :) We're all in this together
@zoetropez76 Yeah, definately no offense taken! I dont like watching this video myself, because i think i look/sound SO silly and weird lol.. But my anxiety has gotten A LOT better.. I keep this video up because of how many views, comments, and messages i get over it, I think it's a good learning tool for some people. And to anyone that thinks "anxiety doesn't exist" this is living proof that it indeed does.
i remeber my first attack in highschool frshman year we were in the gym taking a test about 100 students i felt traped my blood pressure when up i felt like i had to get i was very jitery if thats a word my palms were sweaty so i went to the restroom it would only happen when i was in class i felt trapped in there now i been fine when i fell like something might happend i tell my self ''shut up and continue with what im doin'' dont think about it but as easy as it is...its all in your head..
@AmandaMorphine Sweet, Atleast im not alone in the world. Its the s**tes feeling ever. I to also get panic attacks but i tent to get them because i feel like im not real :/
Awesome music btw. Ye i got pretty wierd anxiety, i feel like im not real and never in reality. i can wake up in the morning and feel like im still sleeping. I NEVER FEEL AWAKE and i dont feel like im REAL. anyone else get this? :)
ive suffered from panic attacks for about 15-20 years, the thing that helps me out these days is i wear an elastic band on my wrist pull it away from my skin and release and keep on doing this over and over again, ive got to the point now where ive taught my brain that it is only a panic attack and im able to control them more, i hope this helps ..
@BlackLabelSlushie, Yeah, Basically, my anxiety was one big panic attack lasting for 4 months, along with PTSD, which I'm pretty sure you probably have.. It's all about identifying your triggers and getting them away from you for a while until your brain gets out of over drive/ stop stressing so much about things that dont matter. Helps a whole heck of a lot
@AmandaMorphine Thanks for the reply. I might take you up on messaging you. Haven't had an 'attack' in a while but when it happens - wow what a freakshow. I really hope this is a temporary thing. See you
Ativan caused this in me. It was awful. I was misdiagnosed with anxiety. I was actually having gall bladder attacks and they wouldn't do testing. Finally three ER's later My gall bladder was tested and removed. The Ativan ruined the next 6 months of my life. Only being on ativan for 3 weeks it stole that many months from me. I don't reccommend benzos ever. If they work for some great. I just hope getting off of them is easier for you than it was for me. Total mis diagnoisis horrible!
Lol, had a panic attack for the first time while I was driving, I pulled over by a cop and had him call the emt's to check me out becuase I felt as if I was having a heart attack or dying. Very very bad feeling... funny though, knowing thats it is only a panic attack seems to keep panic attacks from startng becuase once I feel the same feeling again I just say to myself "its only a panic attack and not life threatening" I dont get worried about it and it goes away very quickly
@SaGalv I still get the physical symptoms, just not the fear, if I tell myself this when I feel one coming on. But it does help eliminate most of them.
If you do have these, I found a simple cure like staying active, not drinking caffeine and having some sort of structure to your day will pretty much rid you of these.
@BarrettJones1111 Yup. Take vitamins too. I found I was extremely vitamin deficient, worsening my symptoms, and it caused a lot of my myriad of physical symptoms during my attacks.
@DragonTU84 yeah, I started eating better as well. Pretty much went vegetarian and started running. I took Chromium, folic acid, vitamin d3 and also raw cocao powder.
I had my first one ever over this past summer and I have to tell you that it's nothing to laugh at. I was one of those people that never believed people when they said they had anxiety. But not now! I guess you could say I had a major one. It started like this but since I didn't know what it was, I thought I was having a heart attack and I completely freaked, called 911 and everything. Of course, the paramedics thought I was on drugs but shows how much they care.
Well, my therapist needs a new job then.. because she said you can't. It won't be the panic attack that makes you pass out.. you CAN NOT! pass out.. it'll be cause you're hyperventilating. Trust me, I know what the hell I'm talking about.. I have a lot more problems than just an anxiety disorder. I am not this bad with mine.. luckily.. but it's still hard, and it's still scary.
Well, You CAN.. Not for the sake of arguing, but I've done it.. It was actually caused by hyperventilating... I did it on the way to the ER in the ambulance and they had to stick a tube down my throat, It sucked and made my throat hurt really bad!
For all the people who are saying you can pass out from an anxiety attack.. YOU CANT!! Stop putting that shit. When you're in a panic, your blood level goes up slightly.. for you to pass out, it has to drop. So stop saying you'll pass out because you can't. I've have 5 different problems for over 9years.. and I am fine. They can get this bad, but not a lot of the time so, I'm lucky in this case. I can calm mine down in the matter of 10-15mins.
@teamjacob2010ify Actually, I have passed out from panic attacks quite a few times. Even right in front of my therapist, so. I have a phobia of being sick/passing out which - in an absolute worst case scenario - causes this to happen because I'm panicking about it so much.
I have these so bad. I can completely relate. I had one yesterday that lasted on a train journey for an hour and a half. Well, I think it was one but it may have been a series of several that kinda blended into eachother.. Either way there was no let up.
I tried everything - controlled breathing, listening to my music, playing a game on my phone, texting friends (difficult to type with shaking hand), thinking ('You're fine, you are not gonna die. It's a panic attack" ). But nothing worked.
Yeah, I honestly would think it was retarded too if I didnt know what it felt like or what was going on. I dont like to watch this video myself, Its more like, for information.
Yeah I just had a horrible panic attack and peaced out at work, lucky for me was late enough in the day it didn't matter. I would think this video is retarded if I never had experienced this exact type of attack myself. It is crazy how the panic takes over when one is triggered, I image it is somewhat similar to having a heart attack or choking to death.
Alohaaaa! Have you thought about - Supreme Panic Magic (should be on google have a look)? Ive heard some decent things about it and my m8 at very last eradicated the panic problem with it.
I have been suffering with panic attacks for over 30 years. I know how you feel honey. They are no joke..... You actually did pretty good cause i would not of been able to sit and hear that music. Stay strong and remember you are incontrole. Thanks for sharing :-)
I'm fighting panic attacks more often than not lately.. You let your breathing get too out of control.. Long, deep breaths. Turning on lights helps me too because it eliminates that aspect of the "fight or flight" Hang tough, you're brave for sharing this.. And no one thinks you're psychotic.. You're not alone in this
i wish you all well copeing with this as i myself had anxiety and panic attacs from the age of 20 to 35... i learned how to control them all by myself with a little help from some tapes i had given to me.. (relaxation method) it does go away over time just as mine did.. you are not dieing as a lot of people feel its just your body telling you that it is over loaded with raceing thoughts.. eg. pins and needles all over your body, eye sight goes like your on LSD. . you can beat this.. good luck.
Hi Amanda, I don't think this video is stupid at all! It is a very real and crappy condition..I had multiple tests completed because I thought I was either having a stroke or a heart attack....I have Chronic Anxiety and I now take Xanax when I feel an attack coming on....it has helped me immensely and I now try very hard to concentrate on controlling it and telling myself that everything will be OK and those awful feelings will pass shortly....I feel for you....
@AmandaMorphine I feel for ya. This video reminds me of myself when I am high. I feel like I am going to have a heart attack. Tell me, were you high or on any illegal drug when this video was made?
@AmandaMorphine Get a cold water bottle. Sip the water until you have a mouthful of water. Hold the water in your mouth for a few mins while pacing the room. The bend over and slowly let the water drain out of your mouth and onto the floor or ground or wherever you are. For whatever reason this technique has helped calm my body down. It keeps the panic in check. I would not recommend any other type of liquid but water and the water should be chilled and it should be either bottled water or
@AmandaMorphine purified water. Anything else will not be as good. If you are high and having a panic attack then do not use alcohol as the substitute for water. Instead of masking the high the alcohol actually just makes it worse
Im sorry you are going through this. I was going through it too. The cure to this is prayer to Jesus. Trust me it works. I thought I would never heal from panic attacks. I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to remove this disorder and I have been free from panic attacks so far for about 2 months. Join this facebook page for prayer.
Its called Spiritual Fitness. The profile pic is a cross in the mist of the gold clouds.
you've nailed it. i had my first one in june...rushed to the hospital, thought i was having a stroke, or heart attack or blood sugar crash (im diabetic) even though there was a lot going on in my life, it came out of nowhere (i was at a mall) hit with unbelieveable force...i haven't been the same since. good luck
When I have an attack I shake, hyperventilate and my muscles are so tensed up that is feels like torture. I need to physically pull my hair or something to try to get over the muscle tension and numbness.
Yeah, when i had a bad one i would do extreme things to show how extreme i was feeling, like yelling and cussing, throwing things, breaking things, slamming doors, etc
oh my god....you do the twitchy thing like me too when I have a panic attack. I don't go numb but I shake and twitch and hyperventilate. This one probably felt horrible but I understand why you called it mild. When I have a severe one I actually shout, thrash, feel nauseous, and it wears me out so much that I feel depressed and either faint or go to sleep voluntarily no matter how many hours I slept before that or what time of day it is.
this is actually helpful.it shows me that other people feel exactly how i feel.that im not going crazy that these feelings i have are real.i hate panic attacks.i hate medication for depression.
oh darlin. I can feel yr pain. I wake up every morning an i cannot breathe. The numbness in d face, an I evn get twitches that make me feel like I'm goin have a seizure. It a terrible life
@AmandaMorphine you know you should not worried about, i have panic attacks for like 2 years a half, its been maybe 4 months i don't have anyone just because my thoughts are positives, try it next time, its the only way, drugs make worse, sorry i not mean you take those things but in case... lol
@AmandaMorphine I'm brand new to the panic attack scene, if that makes sense. Never ever had them until was in Iraq 2 years. Mine last for up to 2 hours or more though. Is that normal? your symptoms seem to be almost identical to mine.
@BlackLabelSlushie Yes. I have had ones last 1 1/2 hours or more. It is atypical but yes, they CAN last longer than the "10-15 min attacks" most people have.
@BlackLabelSlushie Also, feel free to message me, and I can help you out if you need it. I have been though what you have, and have had chronic and horrible, atypical panic attacks. Not only did they last longer but the physical symptoms were 10x worse than most people.
I feel your pain. I'm dealing with anxiety for over 12 years now. Best thing that worked for me was Vitamins B3 & B12 Complex, along with breathing exercises & more physical exercise. Also no caffeine, or soda..I've had everything from numbness in arms, chest pains, passing out, multiple ER visits, feelings like I'm going to die, I have cancer, etc etc...it's horrible to deal with. Luckily, my symptoms are much better these days. Still deal with it, but, not as bad.
You are totally NOT alone. You look like so many of us that suffer as well. I was amazed to see you doing what I do with my arm... Kind of putting it behind my head and moving my hand to my face. Please feel free to contact me if you ever need some reassurance :)
Aw :( I have these too... it's really horrible. I hope you get better, I see it's 2011 I hope that you have learned maybe how to make them not as bad.
I swear, Benzo dependency has been one of the most difficult things I've dealt with in my life. The worst part is, I didn't even realize i was dependant on them til it was too late. Then I spent 7 nasty months trying to get off them. I still have panic attacks even though I've been off the benzos for 8 months.. and i STILL am going through benzo withdrawals.
Poor girl! I recognize this as well, unfortunately. Also, I have panic attacks and I exactly you do during a panic attack. Panic attacks are very difficult and sometimes to deal with. I'm now in drug treatment but I have off the benzos. And unfortunately, that ensures that the panic attacks come back again and very intense. I really hope that you are the panic attacks. I wish you the very best here! Much love, Denise from the Netherlands
omg, this happened to me for the first time today on a bus, and it was just like this except mine was to the point i almost vomited all over the place. Is feeling like vomitting/or actually vomitting normal for a panic attack? Like I was having really vivid gruesume visions of myself and I just colllapsed. came out of nowhere.
Let me just tell you girl i totally know what your going through. I have had anxiety since i was 10 , and now im 16.i have panick attacks alot and they scare me so much but slowly im learning to take deep breaths ,and think happy thoughts and i will get through. I used to think i was dying too ,but in the end were alright. Taking a long walk always helps for me . IF you ever need someone im here for you :) anxiety is so,soo terrible and i dont wish it upon anyone.
When I had a panic attack I use to shake so badly and my face would get hot and my eyes would water and it would be so hard to breathe. And no one ever noticed because I just go so silent trying to figure out what was happening o_o I don't miss those days at all. But your seems more than a mild panic attack.
when you're having a panic attack, i don't recommend that music at ALLLLLLL. songs like those use would make it worse for me. try some soothing things, gentle things, calm things. (unless music like that actually works for you)
@xxoogossipgirl Agreed. Any music that excited me made mine WORSE. I listened to music that calmed me. Or I would pet my cat, to get the realization I was ok. I was not gonna pass out, have a heart attack, seizure, or any other crazy thoughts construed by a mix of the fear and the physical symptoms. Sitting or laying in a semi-upright position helped too, esp. since I got a lot of faint/dizzy/lightheaded spells during them too.
I find what really helped me to overcome this is to exercise. Exercising will help to burn away adrenaline, adrenaline is released during a panic attack or fight or flight response. Exercising will help relax your muscles and help you relax. You don't necessarily have to ware yourself out start out by walking 5 miles a day but it doesn't matter what you do as long as you raise your heart rate, anything that is working out your heart will be good for panic attacks trust me I know by experience,
Hunny, that's not a mild attack, have you spoken to your GP? Just keep reminding yourself that it IS a panic attack and nothing is going to happen to you.
Your brave to put this up
Subscribe to me please.
I go threw the same stuff, but I have the worst kind of attacks.

ive suffered from panic attacks for about 15-20 years, the thing that helps me out these days is i wear an elastic band on my wrist pull it away from my skin and release and keep on doing this over and over again, ive got to the point now where ive taught my brain that it is only a panic attack and im able to control them more, i hope this helps ..
MrNewyork1975 2 months ago
Mine lasted usually 15 mins +, sometimes over an hour, with physical symptoms alone.
DragonTU84 2 months ago
@BlackLabelSlushie, Yeah, Basically, my anxiety was one big panic attack lasting for 4 months, along with PTSD, which I'm pretty sure you probably have.. It's all about identifying your triggers and getting them away from you for a while until your brain gets out of over drive/ stop stressing so much about things that dont matter. Helps a whole heck of a lot
AmandaMorphine 2 months ago
@AmandaMorphine Thanks for the reply. I might take you up on messaging you. Haven't had an 'attack' in a while but when it happens - wow what a freakshow. I really hope this is a temporary thing. See you
BlackLabelSlushie 2 months ago

SaGalv 2 months ago
@SaGalv I still get the physical symptoms, just not the fear, if I tell myself this when I feel one coming on. But it does help eliminate most of them.
DragonTU84 2 months ago
If you do have these, I found a simple cure like staying active, not drinking caffeine and having some sort of structure to your day will pretty much rid you of these.
BarrettJones1111 2 months ago
@BarrettJones1111 Yup. Take vitamins too. I found I was extremely vitamin deficient, worsening my symptoms, and it caused a lot of my myriad of physical symptoms during my attacks.
DragonTU84 2 months ago
@DragonTU84 yeah, I started eating better as well. Pretty much went vegetarian and started running. I took Chromium, folic acid, vitamin d3 and also raw cocao powder.
BarrettJones1111 2 months ago
I had my first one ever over this past summer and I have to tell you that it's nothing to laugh at. I was one of those people that never believed people when they said they had anxiety. But not now! I guess you could say I had a major one. It started like this but since I didn't know what it was, I thought I was having a heart attack and I completely freaked, called 911 and everything. Of course, the paramedics thought I was on drugs but shows how much they care.
BarrettJones1111 2 months ago
Well, my therapist needs a new job then.. because she said you can't. It won't be the panic attack that makes you pass out.. you CAN NOT! pass out.. it'll be cause you're hyperventilating. Trust me, I know what the hell I'm talking about.. I have a lot more problems than just an anxiety disorder. I am not this bad with mine.. luckily.. but it's still hard, and it's still scary.
teamjacob2010ify 2 months ago
Well, You CAN.. Not for the sake of arguing, but I've done it.. It was actually caused by hyperventilating... I did it on the way to the ER in the ambulance and they had to stick a tube down my throat, It sucked and made my throat hurt really bad!
AmandaMorphine 3 months ago
For all the people who are saying you can pass out from an anxiety attack.. YOU CANT!! Stop putting that shit. When you're in a panic, your blood level goes up slightly.. for you to pass out, it has to drop. So stop saying you'll pass out because you can't. I've have 5 different problems for over 9years.. and I am fine. They can get this bad, but not a lot of the time so, I'm lucky in this case. I can calm mine down in the matter of 10-15mins.
My therapist said you CANT pass out at all.
teamjacob2010ify 3 months ago
@teamjacob2010ify Actually, I have passed out from panic attacks quite a few times. Even right in front of my therapist, so. I have a phobia of being sick/passing out which - in an absolute worst case scenario - causes this to happen because I'm panicking about it so much.
disappearinglau 2 months ago
I have these so bad. I can completely relate. I had one yesterday that lasted on a train journey for an hour and a half. Well, I think it was one but it may have been a series of several that kinda blended into eachother.. Either way there was no let up.
I tried everything - controlled breathing, listening to my music, playing a game on my phone, texting friends (difficult to type with shaking hand), thinking ('You're fine, you are not gonna die. It's a panic attack" ). But nothing worked.
Snuffomatica 3 months ago
Yeah, I honestly would think it was retarded too if I didnt know what it felt like or what was going on. I dont like to watch this video myself, Its more like, for information.
AmandaMorphine 3 months ago
Yeah I just had a horrible panic attack and peaced out at work, lucky for me was late enough in the day it didn't matter. I would think this video is retarded if I never had experienced this exact type of attack myself. It is crazy how the panic takes over when one is triggered, I image it is somewhat similar to having a heart attack or choking to death.

You're not alone in this
iamdrkdrgn 3 months ago
i wish you all well copeing with this as i myself had anxiety and panic attacs from the age of 20 to 35... i learned how to control them all by myself with a little help from some tapes i had given to me..

Tell me, were you high or on any illegal drug when this video was made?
somotastic21 3 months ago
@AmandaMorphine Get a cold water bottle. Sip the water until you have a mouthful of water. Hold the water in your mouth for a few mins while pacing the room. The bend over and slowly let the water drain out of your mouth and onto the floor or ground or wherever you are. For whatever reason this technique has helped calm my body down. It keeps the panic in check. I would not recommend any other type of liquid but water and the water should be chilled and it should be either bottled water or
somotastic21 3 months ago
@AmandaMorphine purified water. Anything else will not be as good. If you are high and having a panic attack then do not use alcohol as the substitute for water. Instead of masking the high the alcohol actually just makes it worse

Im sorry you are going through this. I was going through it too. The cure to this is prayer to Jesus. Trust me it works. I thought I would never heal from panic attacks. I prayed to the Lord and asked Him to remove this disorder and I have been free from panic attacks so far for about 2 months. Join this facebook page for prayer.

When I have an attack I shake, hyperventilate and my muscles are so tensed up that is feels like torture. I need to physically pull my hair or something to try to get over the muscle tension and numbness.
Wolfbloodvamps171 3 months ago
Yeah, when i had a bad one i would do extreme things to show how extreme i was feeling, like yelling and cussing, throwing things, breaking things, slamming doors, etc
AmandaMorphine 4 months ago
oh my god....you do the twitchy thing like me too when I have a panic attack.

@AmandaMorphine I'm brand new to the panic attack scene, if that makes sense. Never ever had them until was in Iraq 2 years. Mine last for up to 2 hours or more though. Is that normal? your symptoms seem to be almost identical to mine.
BlackLabelSlushie 2 months ago
@BlackLabelSlushie Yes. I have had ones last 1 1/2 hours or more. It is atypical but yes, they CAN last longer than the "10-15 min attacks" most people have.
DragonTU84 2 months ago
@BlackLabelSlushie Also, feel free to message me, and I can help you out if you need it. I have been though what you have, and have had chronic and horrible, atypical panic attacks. Not only did they last longer but the physical symptoms were 10x worse than most people.

Rminsabic07 4 months ago
I feel your pain. I'm dealing with anxiety for over 12 years now. Best thing that worked for me was Vitamins B3 & B12 Complex, along with breathing exercises & more physical exercise. Also no caffeine, or soda..I've had everything from numbness in arms, chest pains, passing out, multiple ER visits, feelings like I'm going to die, I have cancer, etc etc...it's horrible to deal with. Luckily, my symptoms are much better these days. Still deal with it, but, not as bad.

AmandaMorphine 5 months ago
Denieske 5 months ago
I finally got off benzos and now im thinking about getting back on them.. just because i cant seem to manage my anxiety. i dont know what to do.
AmandaMorphine 5 months ago
omg, this happened to me for the first time today on a bus, and it was just like this except mine was to the point i almost vomited all over the place. Is feeling like vomitting/or actually vomitting normal for a panic attack? Like I was having really vivid gruesume visions of myself and I just colllapsed. came out of nowhere.
412BurghxBoi 5 months ago
Let me just tell you girl i totally know what your going through. I have had anxiety since i was 10 , and now im 16.i have panick attacks alot and they scare me so much but slowly im learning to take deep breaths ,and think happy thoughts and i will get through. I used to think i was dying too ,but in the end were alright. Taking a long walk always helps for me . IF you ever need someone im here for you :) anxiety is so,soo terrible and i dont wish it upon anyone.
AllThatCuteness101 5 months ago
When I had a panic attack I use to shake so badly and my face would get hot and my eyes would water and it would be so hard to breathe. And no one ever noticed because I just go so silent trying to figure out what was happening o_o I don't miss those days at all. But your seems more than a mild panic attack.
JenDancesWithWolves 6 months ago
when you're having a panic attack, i don't recommend that music at ALLLLLLL. songs like those use would make it worse for me. try some soothing things, gentle things, calm things. (unless music like that actually works for you)
xxoogossipgirl 6 months ago 17
@xxoogossipgirl Agreed. Any music that excited me made mine WORSE. I listened to music that calmed me. Or I would pet my cat, to get the realization I was ok. I was not gonna pass out, have a heart attack, seizure, or any other crazy thoughts construed by a mix of the fear and the physical symptoms. Sitting or laying in a semi-upright position helped too, esp. since I got a lot of faint/dizzy/lightheaded spells during them too.

This used to hapen to me in school :(
unicornsarerealxo 6 months ago
I find what really helped me to overcome this is to exercise. Exercising will help to burn away adrenaline, adrenaline is released during a panic attack or fight or flight response. Exercising will help relax your muscles and help you relax. You don't necessarily have to ware yourself out start out by walking 5 miles a day but it doesn't matter what you do as long as you raise your heart rate, anything that is working out your heart will be good for panic attacks trust me I know by experience,
ChiefLopez122793 8 months ago
Hunny, that's not a mild attack, have you spoken to your GP? Just keep reminding yourself that it IS a panic attack and nothing is going to happen to you.
