always use 1% two stroke oil in your fuel to prevent engine and fuel system wear and corrosion caused by modern E10 Eco Fuel! Its just too dry and aggressive to your engine and pump and tank materials. 2 Stroke oil neutralizes the acid in the modern eco-fuel.

Driving with a cold engine leads to an over pressure in the oil coolers - and makes them burst. Now you can either have tonns of spare oil coolers or you need to be very good in working with steel.
The communists in winter started the engine, let it run so long until it reached 70c (which would take 15-30 minutes) and then they would be able to drive the thing.

Using fully synthetic oils does not give this problem. It stays thin in very cold weather. An does not thin much when hot. Fully synthetic oils does wonders for older engines designed for the old mineral oils.
