  • I honestly don't think they thought he was going to be as good as he turned out...if they did he would not be running in a maiden at Turfway Park.

Bet on him in the Breeders Cup and I really like how he tries hard all the time. I think if he can carry his speed, he can be a special horse or a Game on Dude type

  • And...I think his official song should be "MMMbop" by the band Hanson (remember them?!?).

    Perfect for Hansen...don't you think?!?

  • "Hansen"- Ringing in the New Year 2012!‏2011/2012's racing sensation!

    This horse is spectacular!!!

Wow! I believe that "Hansen" is our new "Super Horse". He makes my skin tingle, and my heart race!

And what about his color?!? White! At the age of 2?!? Incredible. He reminds me of a racing phantom. An apparition. A ghost. I am officially starting, at this moment of time, The Hansen Fan Club". Here we come Kentucky Derby!

  • Reminds me of Holy Bull.. lets hope we get lucky with the Ky derby.. he already won it in my dream 2 days ago.. union rags came 3rd..lol

  • leading wire to wire!

  • even money in the debut, think the word was out on him? looks like easy money in retrospect

  • he takes a long lead like secretariat did. Which secretariat is in fact in his blood lines. :D

  • I'll be watching this one.

  • Hanson ran a great BC Juvenile, but if Union Rags didn't have a horrible trip, then he gets there pretty easily. I like this colt, but he is a speedball better suited to 6-8 furlongs. I don't see how he would do well in the TC outside of a good showing in the Preakness - as the shorter distance and Pimlico's tight turns would favor his front-running tendency. On another note, have anyone ever seen a grade 1 thoroughbred this light of a shade of gray? An absolutely BEAUTIFUL colt!

  • @blown22 I actually think as Hansen matures, he'll be able to carry his graceful speed further without a problem. He's done it beautifully do far, and did it against the best of the best 2YOs in the BC. People can say what they want, but Union Rags, despite wide trip, was well in contention down the entire lane on Saturday, and couldn't get by, until it was too late. I think if all stays well with Hansen, he could be a major star next year. And agreed, Hansen is a gorgeous animal.

  • He ran such a good race at the Breeder's Cup! I didn't pick him to win, but I was cheering for him when he was coming down the stretch.

  • hrich I don't know you but I am with you

  • @FishgirlNola thx. we could exchange info. i train horses

  • @hrich245 I agree!

  • @saramadi100 thx

  • 2012 triple crown winner.

  • @hrich245 his running style could get him nailed in the belmont, if not for sure in the derby.

  • @umarmaxmas u remember da tara in 2008? it's how u pace a front runner u will get the job done 9 out of 10 times. as long as this colt mature over the next few moths and is injury free he will do great.

  • @hrich245 bro i remember war emblem as well and the strong front running style that he had, but remember sarava just surrged past.

smarty jones got done by birdstone.

funny cide went to the lead but empire maker, who couldnt make it in other races, ran him down, so unless you got secratariat front running at belmont would seldom help.

  • @umarmaxmas Thus far, this video's most intelligent comment.
