I don't think patents on clothing are possible, and this is an accepted industry rule because it was decided long ago that they don't want someone having a patent on "shirts", or to come up with a new name every time they removed an inch from something just so it seems unique.

I have no idea if it's a good product since women's fashion has never made a great deal of sense to me, though it seems like it serves a purpose. But lack of a patent means first-mover advantage is all they've got.
