OK, you have to admit. Nayuki's dexterity while asleep is incredible. Even if she's clumsy at it, changing, responding, and eating are all pretty incredible. Heck, she can operate chopsticks, something I can't even do awake.

And what's so bad about having normal sounding voices? A normal voice can sound cute even when it's not high pitched. I think that this dub had a great voice cast especially Nayuki's voice.

I can't stand anyone that says "OMG LOL DUBZ SUCK LOL". Though there might be some bad actors, doesn't anyone realize that there are bad Japanese actors as well?

For example, in Azumanga Daioh. Fans say they hate the English dub because Chiyo's voice isn't high enough. But in Japanese newspapers, they heavily criticized Chiyo's Japanese actor making her voice TOO high!

@LeFatTurkey I agree with that. Some anime have bad dubs, some are good/acceptable, and some are better than the original seiyuu. I personally find really high-pitched voices annoying. But wierdly cute voices like Konata from Lucky Star can't ever be dubbed, no matter how good the english voice actor is.

I found Konata's VA better than her seiyuu. She captured her lazyness much better, while the seiyuu tried to make her sound more cute in a weird way. Not sure how to describe it. She turns "Kah-gah-mee" into "Kuh-guh-meh" in the seiyuu's attempt to be cute.

@LeFatTurkey You think? Meh, its still always about perspective I suppose. I like wierdly cute better, but lazy cute is good too. But girly-girly cute can be a little much for me. I think Yuuichi's voice dubbed better than original. It makes sound more like the teenager he actually is. And it doesn't help that its the same seiyuu as Kyon, who is the only character I could enjoy that deep voice from.
