"Black Mirror" is a great, frightening apocalyptic track, and the video is brilliant, in my opinion. For some reason, every time I watch it, I'm reminded of the films of Fritz Lang, especially "Metropolis." I don't know why, but Lang's film always seem to pop into my head every time I put this video on. Anyway, I absolutely love The Arcade Fire -- they're an amazing band, and I have a strong gut feeling they're only going to get better and better and better.

I always thought the song was about a Magick Mirror and the singer wanted to know where, when and why of things to come in a future war.(Magick mirrors are Black in color for better gazing you know.) I own one of course. ;) First time I've seen the video and kind of disappointed how it was interpreted by the MTV video production. :(
